We had a nice lunch. We even shared tiramisu for dessert. Yum. It is 45 here, almost feels like summer.:rotfl2:

Siobhan, that wasn't very nice to post a 5 minute chocolate cake recipe.:rotfl2:

Amy, welcome back. Can't wait to see pics and hear about your wedding.

BlueSkies, thanks for the coffee cake. I hope we had it with some DD coffee. :cloud9: You forgot, chocolate does NOT have any calories.:lmao:

Princesses, I'll go with Beau, I didn't like what Phil said.:lmao:

Mare, your DS is too cute, love the sunglasses.

Hey Amy! I have been waiting for the pictures!!! I cant wait!!!

Yeah, Chan, I wayyy overpacked! I brought a pair of capri's or shorts for everyday. A choice of a long sleve or short for every day ...a few sweaters/sweatshirts...about 4 pairs of shoes...oh heck I dont know...waaayyyy too much!!! :lmao: :rotfl:

I just got a great recipe...watch out choco cake only 5 minutes away!!!!

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
a small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug
Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and
vanilla extract, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts (high).
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to
cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.

EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous).

And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world? Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

OMG....I am LMAO...I seriously read that splash of vanilla as a splash of VODKA EXTRACT......:rotfl: Siobhan = Vodka And that cake sounds awesome!!!

AND...wow...I am really bad...I am trying so hard not to live up to my notoriously nasty over packing rep...but it looks like it's just ME:p ..it's who I am.:rotfl2: There is no way around it...... It is a fact of my life....I am a pack rat......:earsgirl:

Welll at least crocs are light weight..... gasp! :scared1:

What did i just type ? Is it true Siobhan luggage will really contain a...... here it comes..... a pair of...... CROCS?

:faint:

NO KIDDING!!!!!! I was AMAZED...now I won't feel so dopey wearing my black Mary Janes.....they have Peanuts Jibbitz all over them.:thumbsup2

Chan....You kill me with your packing :rotfl: :rotfl:. And then the VODKA EXTRACT :rotfl2: :rotfl2:. I can tell you're ready for this trip :drinking1. And I don't know if you've seen it or not, but SWA is now booking through Aug. 14th :thumbsup2. I just pulled it up to check our June dates and saw it. June is still sucky :sad2:......but I keep checking every day just in case the fares change to a great deal :goodvibes.

hi, Deb!! OMG....I kill myself....I am terrible. I cannot let anything be left behind...its a flippin 5 night trip and I am going to have two large rolling duffles!! Kind of embarrassing.....I don't want to be stuck 1100 miles from home wishing I brought something.....:rotfl:

And when the limo driver heard I was coming...he knew that meant STRETCH limo...for my stuff.:rotfl: Go ahead...tell them, Siobhan.:rotfl:

And I have a larger pile of shoes then Siobhan....and...now that I read she packed a short and long sleeve tee for each day...I thru in some extra long sleeve tees....:rotfl2: I am BAD...I need some serious help.:p Packing intervention.:scared:

OH..I REALLY did see "Splash of Vodka"...then I took a double take!!!:goodvibes I know Siobhan loves her vodka...so I figured it was her secret ingredient.:rotfl:

TTYL,
Chan
GF chit chat Gal;)

I used to be that way.....taking everything I own "just in case" I wanted to wear it :rotfl: :rotfl:. I've cut down a little, but I still overpack because I do come home with half a suitcase full of clothes that were never worn .......but I do manage to get everything into one large suitcase :rolleyes1. But I have to say shoes are worse for me than clothes because I never know if I'll feel like wearing tennis shoes, flip flops, crocs, sandals......and some outfits look better with certain shoes so I'm always taking way more shoes than I should :rolleyes2. And that doesn't count the shoes I wear the day we leave :rotfl2: :rotfl2:.

Deb :upsidedow

:scared: Chan, you do need help. I could go away for 5 months with 2 large duffles.:rotfl2: They have stores in Florida if you find that you do need something.:rotfl2: You wouldn't even have to leave the GF to get anything you may need.:goodvibes I pack everything in one medium suitcase, and one carryon. If it doesn't fit, I don't take it.

I am laughing hysterically Chan!!!!!:rotfl: :lmao: Vodka is my poison for sure..maybe I will add that instead!

Now you all know how I feel about Crocs but seriously...there is something I hate more than Crocs that you all love....Vera Bradley! :rotfl: Well I have a motto that I can not buy my handbags where I buy my greeting cards...Then I added in Crocs to that list, too, since I bought crocs at Hallmark! :rotfl: So I was telling my step mother about the dilemma I was having with my carry on and she said..."Oh, I have a large Vera Bradley you can take!" :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: So now I will have 2 items with me that I never in a million years thought I would wear!!!! :upsidedow I must be getting old!!!

Off to Acro! TTFN!

I KNOW!!!:rotfl: :scared: I wish I could get into that mindset...if it doesn't fit I don't take it:thumbsup2 ....I am just so wishy washy and who knows what color or what outfit...or what shoes I will feel like on a certain day. And I am super simple, too!! I am like a solid V tee and khaki gal....I am easy....but then I have to have the watch, shoes, jewelry, bag...to match.:rotfl2: I am going to have to rethink my strategies...whatever those may be.:rotfl2: I am always so embarrassed at the airport and when the limo comes.....:rotfl2:

We are going to convert you yet!!:thumbsup2 I am not particularly a Crocs fan...but I have an odd Jibbitz addiction.:rotfl: I have a whole Brighton tin full of Jibbitz...and guess what? When I bought my black MJ ones for this trip...I bought all new Jibbitz....:rotfl2: I needed the full Peanuts set. I love my Vera though!!! YOu will appreciate how lightweight and cute that bag is!!! And although I have never washed them....they are machine washable.

YEah,...I am thinking a splash of vodka might be kinda tasty in a mug of chocolate cake!:rotfl2:

Chan
overloaded GF GAL:rotfl:

I just have to share....omg.....I am shaking.:scared: It brought back terrible memories.......

I just went out driving with Zack. He is learning to drive stick....omg...omg ...omg.....I am literally still shaking.:rotfl2: :rotfl:  I think I am traumatized:sad2: ....I actually said LOUDLY.."I DON"T WANT TO DIE!!! I AM GOING TO WDW IN 2 DAYS WITH MY FRIENDS!!!":rotfl: :rotfl: And was said he doesn't want to die either...he's only 18...:rotfl2: He was like..."Hey..it's like OLD TIMES!":rotfl: (like when I originally rode with him when he had his permit...and shrieked and hit the dash and kept banging my ffot on the ground....) Teaching him to drive was nightmare worthy. :) And he has this obnoxious music on...and I kept turning it off....and it was giving me a panic attack....DJ Shadow or something....totally annoying. It was awful...and I am not doing that again.:rotfl:

CHan
traumatized GF GAL with raw nerves.....

Deb We'll be renting the cabana right next to yours:thumbsup2

Maxie How could I have forgotten that chocolate has no calories...silly me:confused3 ...and yes you did have a nice large cup of DD with that yummy cake....:)

Channing I think vodka extract would be far more popular than the vanilla one!!:rotfl:

Hi to everyone else...:wave2: hope you are all having a nice evening...

Need to go get some stuff done...ttyl:flower3:

Channing In our house DH is the official driving teacher...I would be doing the same as you!!!

:scared: My question is how can they drive with that loud awful music anyway!!!

I've said it before teens....:faint:

I bought a new VB hipster in daisy daisy...very cute...:) loved all of the different greens...

Blue...my husband travels and works long and late....and so it winds up being ME!!!! IT is SCARY!!!:sad2: And it was kinda funny how Z was like...FEELS LIKE OLD TIMES>....because unfortunately it did.:rotfl2:

I LOVE Daisy Daisy!!! :goodvibes Super cute. :flower3: I don't own any but I have often thought I should.;)

Channing
GF GAL still on edge.....:scared: .

Chan: Sounds like you need a shot of vodka extract for your nerves :faint:

I think you'll pack less once all the airlines start charging $$ per bag. I used to take everything we owned, especially the kids. Always "what if"? Then I started packing lighter thinking I'll do laundry. That worked twice, then I figured out how to pack just enough without over doing it. I still take more than everyone needs, but we manage a family of four in two 27" suitcases, and all our WDW junk in a rolling duffel. Fans, spinning things, hats, that kinda junk. :rotfl2:

Siobhan: I'm not a fan of Vera either. I think the patterns are very pretty, it's just not for me. Same goes for crocs. Cute for kids, not for adults. :clown: But I understand anything goes in WDW.:upsidedow

Deb: I finally got a pin code!! :yay: I got my first ever Disney mail today. It's the postcard for kids 3-6 free. I can't use it, the dates are 3/1-4/16, but I'm excited to finally be on the right mailing list! :rotfl: Yay! :yay: for your cabana day! You tell them girl! You deserve one day to relax and do nothing! :beach: When the GF Gals return, I bet they'll give us a good list of fruity drinks to have by the pool! :drinking1

Did anyone see on the theme park thread that Stacy was back in DHS filming an updated Top 7 show. I guess she had to include TSM. I find her annoying but addicting. We always have her on for some reason :happytv:

How sad that I am thinking in one week I will in the air to come home....:guilty:

Picked up the butt ugly VB tonight! Yucko! :crazy2: But I think it is just what I need! :rotfl:

I am getting my hair done tomorrow! I just cant take it anymore! It would have been 1 year in March since I had it colored but it's time! A blond Siobhan has more fun! :rotfl:

There have been a lot of peeps missing from this thread...Marvel, lcae, traci??? Where are ya all? :scratchin

Maxie.......I agree about having stores in Florida that would have everything anybody would need should they forget it at home :rotfl:. I used to always make sure I took EVERYTHING because heaven forbid I'd forget something....but then I just started telling DH that whatever I forgot I could always go to a store and buy :rotfl2:. And I never have any trouble finding things at Disney :rotfl: :rotfl:.

Siobhan......I used to HATE crocs and said I would NEVER wear them :rolleyes2. I finally broke down 2 years ago and bought the red Mickey ones at The World of Disney.......now I want the pink ones :rotfl:. One thing I did tell DH is that I had to admit they are VERY COMFORTABLE :cloud9:.

Chan........Sorry the driving lesson didn't go too well :scared:. We don't have any stick vehicles so DS only has automatic to deal with....which is nighmare enough for me :crazy2:. But he did learn to ride a dirt bike (which he had to learn to shift) when he was 9 years old so hopefully that knowledge will kick in when he does eventually learn to drive a stick car :rolleyes1. But just him learning to drive is enough to drive me insane....and it's DH teaching him....not me.....and I'm already a basket case :faint:.

BlueDeb.........I can't wait to get to my cabana :cloud9:. We'll see ya there :thumbsup2. I had to laugh at your comment to Chan about teens driving with loud music because I crank the stereo louder than DSs sometimes :rotfl:........especially when it's Metallica ::yes::. It jump starts my mornings when I take DS to school :rotfl2:.

Mare.......WTG on the code :thumbsup2. Doesn't it feel good to know that Disney FINALLY knows we're here :rotfl: :rotfl:. Once you get past the fact that you can't use it because the dates don't work, you feel a little better knowing Disney DOES have your correct email address and hopefully one of these days you'll get a code you can use :goodvibes. Right on about the cabana :thumbsup2......I'm going to take advantage of that day and relax :). I can't wait to see the list of all the good fruity drinks the gals come back with next week ::yes::.

Deb :hyper:

Someone on the GF thread said the cabanas are currently under a major rehab. They were told something about a "high-tech" upgrade. I'm hoping it's the Wiis, a/c units and ceiling fans! :cool1: They said lots of upgrades!!!

Which will mean the cost will go up for the summer months :sad2: But if they have "good" upgrades in there, it's worth it! :thumbsup2

Chan: You have to investigate this!! Take lots of photos and ask lots of questions!! We're counting on you to get the scoop! :goodvibes

Mare-I saw that on Stacy too. Don't you just love how the tv always comes on her when you turn it on (ha,ha)?

Channing-We always drive, so I can relate to the overpacking. Just be glad that you don't drive, it is crazy how much stuff we carry for only 2 people.

Have a great day, GF gals - It's almost time!!! - Lisa.
