OK, I ordered this dress from the Loft for my VDay Dinner

Lunch was nice....thanks for asking . We talked about a few things but we are going to go to lunch next week with my mom and dad so we can get an idea of what they want to do . My mom would love to go to all the parks but not sure about my dad . So we're going to meet with them and see what they're thinking so we're all on the same page. I'm up for anything that deals with talking Disney .

Thanks everyone for your prayers and well wishes. OK, he is driving me nuts already. He doesn't know what to with himself. He tried watching TV and reading a book. Neither one lasted very long. He just sits in his chair and then gets up and walks around. It gonna be a long long week.

I gave him another pain pill and put him to bed in the guest room. We have a waterbed, probably not a good idea to sleep face down on a waterbed.

Cute dress Kristin. Yes, don't forget to tangle that sweater.

BlueSkies, get the one with the biggest seat. They are a lot better than they used to be. My first bike had a little tiny seat. Not comfortable. You can't stay on it very long if your butt hurts.

Hey alll.....ALMOST ONE WEEK!!!!! I am too tired to stay up til midnight and cheer....but it's close.

Blue Skies...oh yeah...I will show my age too...I loved that show "Family".

Deb....I am glad you had a nice fun day! I was bored so I cleaned my house. NOt even super cleaned....just caught up. Boooooo ring.....I think I will be home again tomorrow...unless the sun is shining....it was just too icky gray and cold today and I didn't even want to leave until I had to schlep the girls around.....(story of my life)

Lucy's drumming concert tonight was amazing. They have these African drums and other funky unique instruments and they jammed. I felt like I was in Adventureland or the African Outpost in Epcot or AK. And then they had the choir sing that song from Shrek "Hallelujah" while they played and did funky rhythms as a grand finale....it was goosebumpy. I wish they had a World Drumming club when I was a kid!!!!

Well...thought I'd share.....I hate going to school in the cold winter evenings...but it was really neat & worth it. I baked her brownies when we got home.

OK....I am off to watch......da da daaaaaaaaaaaaa.................

"Father Knows Best"....season 2! There's an oldie for ya!! I LOVE THOSE OLD SHOWS!!!!!

Chan: That drum show sounds amazing! I love when they let the kids explore different instruments.

I watched Biggest Loser last night, haven't watched it in years. I needed some motivation I'm so glad they sent that guy who didn't want to be there home, but I really felt bad for Daniel his friend - that boy needed to be there! But did you see at the end he lost 100 lbs already. I was so happy for him! Poor kid, over 400 lbs at 19 years old!!

I watched a little AI too, I flipped channels

Off to get DS4 dressed for school.

Hope you all are well...No school today here! It never fails! I have a crazy busy day at work and then there is no school! I had to reschedule everyone and it is just a pain! I just keep telling myself that its okay as long as it isnt next Wednesday!

Good Morning, lots of earlybirds this morning. It is snowing here too. We are waiting for the Dr's office to call and tell us if we can go to the Cape Cod office instead of going to Boston. It will be a lot easier to go to the Cape. I slept very well last night. NO SNORING.

Lucy's concert sounds fun. In a way I miss those days of going to school things, but mostly I don't, especially in the winter.

I love all of those old shows too.

Did anyone see the segment on GMA this morning about the guy who had his credit limit lowered on his Amex card because he shopped at Walmart? He had an excellent credit score, but they said that a lot of people that shop in certain stores have a bad credit history. They are profilling you by where you shop. Glad I didn't use mine at Walmart this week. I very rarely go there, maybe once every couple of years. Wouldn't want to have my limit lowered because of that. I use it often when I shop to get the air miles.

Morning

All this talk of old tv..... I do know FAME! I went to a performing arts school so it was like FAME everyday LOL!

My DVR malfunctioned and did not record Biggest looser and by the time I was able to turn on biggest looser they were just finishing the weigh in, so all i got to see was the elimination round I was sad for Daniel he needed to be there. His friend shot him in the foot BUT yay he is doing good at home and his friend not so much. Kinda saw that one coming!

Channing~ that drum thing sounds super cool! Lucy is getting to do some cool stuff!

When I was in the AK opening they flew in these African tribesmen that did this AWESOME drumming...... totally cool! Their instruments were homemade from animal skins ect. The only think was it was hard standing downwind of them on stage, they all had horrible BO! I felt so sorry for the people on the plane they flew on.

He had a detached retina. He had surgery yesterday. The surgery went well, but now we have to wait until it heals to see how much vision he gets back. He has to sleep face down and keep his head forward looking down for at least a week.

Have I ever mentioned that I HATE WINTER . We didn't get dumped on but we did get more than the inch or 2 they were predicting . I am just so tired of the cold and snow that I can't take waking up to this anymore . And of course I have to run to the grocery store today and it would be a great day to just stay home . OK.....now that my rant is over ............

It was hard to see Dan go last night. I am glad he was able to keep losing but that partner of his really could have used the professional help. At least he was able to make some positive changes after they were voted off. I forgot AI was on until halfway through....
