Ok I reread everything.....my brain does not work till my diet coke kicks in and i don't drink one till after 9am!

Kristin~ Cute dress, that is noce that you and DH are gonna get away for V-day!

Maxie~ Glad you got a snore free night of sleep! MY DH snores horribly so i can empathize! Hope your DH is easy going on you. I have to say if i had to keep my head down for a week i would drive everyone crazy! :crazy2:

Still praying for that vision to come back! ::yes::

pixiedust: Yay for double digits! pixiedust:

Siobhan~ Bummer about the kids...... hope you have a good day Turn on the TV and let them veg :happytv:

BlueSkies~ Get the best bike you can afford, they are worth it! My DH rides between 7-20 miles everyday (depending on the day) and he did not get a road bike (like racing) but got a cross between a mountain bike and a road bike, he got a Cannondale. I would suggest going to a bike shop and trying them out and making sure they fit it to you. Big seats are good too! ::yes::

Gotta run DD has to be at school asap!

morning!:goodvibes

Yeah..that drumming is very cool.....they have a terrific band and music program at that school. The nice music teacher started this after school club and he did it for nothing....there weren't originally enough kids in it for him to have it be called a "club" and get paid for his work in it. THAT is dedication. I think thye have 10 now....I am not sure if that's enough...but I was impressed because I asked Lucy if if would be cancelled and she said NO it's something HE was really excited about doing & wants to do for the kids.

Siobhan I went to Itunes to listen...It's really pretty. Now...is he a Christian singer or soemthing? I only got a little bit of it though...but it is really pretty. I forgot about that song and I loved it when i heard it and couldn't remember where.... Jojo was like IT'S FROM SHREK!!!:rotfl:

Maxie awesome on the double digits!!! I hope your DH had a good day today.....I can't even imagine having to go thru a day like that.....

AND I DID see that on GMA!!:sad2: I JUST SAW IT!!! I hate Amex!!!!! That is UNREAL but they are so sneaky!!!!

Dawn's husband came home about 5 yesterday she said.....it sounds like he's ok.....he was still really out of it yesterday.

ok...gotta get Jojo to move it move it......

GF GAL ON LOCATION IN ONE WEEK!!!!!
off to order wine!:goodvibes

It's a slushy mess outside today. I don't know what time it started snowing, but it's the first time the streets are not plowed by 8am!! Thank goodness we have AWD! I flipped the switch and felt much safer driving. I had to carry DS4 into school because I never thought to put his snow boots on since I drive him, the street hadn't been plowed and the front of the school hadn't been shoveled - it was a mess! :sad2: It's supposed to stop soon and turn to rain. I hope it's all gone by pick up time!

I remember Fame and TJ Hooker! I really used to watch the sitcoms like One Day at a Time, Threes Company, etc... We'd watch the sitcoms everynight as a family. Now, sitcoms are rare!

OMG I can't believe they lowered someones credit over where they shopped! I'd be furious!! I use my debt card or cash mostly at Walmart. But I'm not at Walmart often, more so in the summer when I'm in the country more.

Kristin: Where you going for VDay? I'm not evening thinking about VDay yet. DS#2 bday is the day after VDay, 10 days after DS#1!!! Then DH's bday is 10 days later!!! :sad2: February is like xmas here!

(BL) I was so mad that Dan's friend gave up and wanted to go home. He really needed to stay at the ranch! But when I saw that Dan lost 100 lbs at home I nearly cried! I was so happy for him. :cool1:

Off to go make a pot of chicken noodle soup. It feels like a soup day here.

Chan (and all other wing fans) put Regis and Kelly on right now. They have the wing king on making wings! :happytv:

Mare......I used to watch One Day at a Time all the time ::yes::....I loved that show :goodvibes. All these shows bringing back memories.....but also making me feel OLD :rotfl2: :rotfl2:.

Your Feb is like my Oct :scared:. We have so many bdays in Oct.......it starts out with my nephew on the 4th; my sister the 6th; my MIL the 12th; my brother the 16th; and my SIL the 19th :faint:. Oct is a busy month for us .

Chan.....Thanks for the update on Dawn's DH ;).

Hope everyone has a great day :flower3:. I really should get moving so I can get showered and head to the grocery store :rolleyes2....just what I want to do in this crappy snowy weather :headache:.

Deb :)

I only get to go for 3 nights...... They come in two day before i can get there BUT they better not start the party too soon!

Don't worry....we will just be all warmed up. :cool1: There's enough party to go around.:rotfl:

Kelly and Siobhan....is it really bad over there??? Are your kids off school??

GF GAL ordered the WINE!!

I watched Biggest Loser last night, haven't watched it in years. I needed some motivation ;) I'm so glad they sent that guy who didn't want to be there home, but I really felt bad for Daniel his friend - that boy needed to be there! But did you see at the end he lost 100 lbs already. I was so happy for him! :cool1: Poor kid, over 400 lbs at 19 years old!!:faint:

Mare - I love the biggest loser. I can't wait to see what Dan looks like at the end of the season finale.

My DVR malfunctioned and did not record Biggest looser and by the time I was able to turn on biggest looser they were just finishing the weigh in, so all i got to see was the elimination round:rolleyes: I was sad for Daniel he needed to be there. His friend shot him in the foot BUT yay he is doing good at home and his friend not so much. Kinda saw that one coming!

I love the Biggest Loser!! I watch every week!!! I was also glad that Dave went home (to bad they weren't down to singles instead of teams so Dan could have stayed) I felt bad when Tara FLIPPED OUT on him, but at the same time, he was only on the ranch for 1 week, so there wasn't time for him "to get it" IMO.

Mandy, the only thing you missed was the rescripting of Joelle. She worked harder than ever, Bob praised her, most of the team was nice to her. And Helen won immunity at a football challenge. Oh, and the guy from the black shirt team got to go home for 3 days so he could be there for the birth of his son.

We are going to Lake Geneva, WI. It is a little town with lots of bed and breakfasts etc. People flock up in there in the summer for the lake and in the winter to ski. He booked us a room at The Grand Geneva Resort & Spa with dinner at their fancy pants steakhouse. I was STUNNED!!! We don't normally do much for Valentine's Day, so this is a nice treat. It is only about a 35 minute drive from her, which is even better!!

TTFN!

GF GAL ordered the WINE!!

mine are home but so far its not that bad out. Not enough to barely shovel to be honest.

I watched the Biggest Loser too. I love that show. Dan lives somewhere in Raleigh. My DH told me the other day that he was already home because he had been spotted by a friend of a friend, but I didn't know for sure. He looked so great running around that track. I feel like he will be able to do it.

Does anyone watch The Amazing Race? I see that the next season is going to start on February 15th. I love this show also, it is neat to see the places that they travel too.

Thank you so much fro the recap :worship: i was seriously upset i missed it! :sad2:

Rescripting! :thumbsup2 Exactly..... it is still reality TV and they control how we see the contestants with editing. :sad2: I still don't like Joelle :confused3

My DH and I love the Amazing Race:thumbsup2 It will be nice when it starts back up again!

I just talked to my mom in southern NH and it has just started snowing hard there. It hasn't stopped yet here in Dayton!:sad2: but the kids have been enjoying the snow.

It's now raining here. It's a big slushy mess! :headache:

Soups done. :thumbsup2

I did a "Walk Away the Pounds -One Mile" DVD. OMG! I'm sore! I didn't think I'd get such a workout in 18 mins! I used 1.5 hand weights and my arms are sore. I'm gonna try to do this everyday. It was actually fun. I just need to download some workout music onto my Ipod, I don't care for the music on the DVD plus DS1 was napping while I did it - so I shut off the tv volume. But it was fun. I guess Biggest Losser motivated me ;)

Christine What a nice family photo:) Glad your kids are enjoying the snow...

Our roads were a mess this morning...if they are predicting snow for days ahead of time they why arent the plows out bright and early...like before the morning traffic!!!:confused3

Mare I'm not familiar with that DVD...I like things that are convenient and EVEN BETTER that I can do at home...sounds like a good work out....what kind of soup did you make??...today is a good soup day...

Dawn Thinking of you and your DH...:goodvibes

We dont need the wing king...we have our very own wing queen...:snooty: :rotfl:

Mandy I'm sure the bus wont hit full speed until you are onboard!!!:drive: the image that brings to mind of all of you just cracks me up:rotfl2:

Hi to everyone else...:wave2:

Another novel...:upsidedow ttyl....

Has anyone read this book? The Healthy Guide to Walt Disney World. It just came out. I'm interested to see what the calories are for the popular foods and snacks. It says turkey legs have over 1,000 calories per leg! :faint: DH's favorite!! Looks interesting.... I'm going to stop at the book store tomorrow on the way to the grocery store to check it out.

http://www.amazon.com/Healthy-Guide...=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1233165889&sr=8-1

BlueDeb: Hi :wave2: I made basic chicken noodle soup with egg noodles. DH requested "regular soup" :rotfl: I added fresh basil and fresh oregano and I think that made the difference. It's really tasty. :thumbsup2 (as my DS4 has been saying lately)

I've heard the gals at WW rave about Leslie Sansone and her walk away the pounds DVDs. So last summer (yes SUMMER!) I bought the DVD at Walmart and never did it. For some reason it wouldn't play on my DVD player at the house. So I just found it recently and brought it back to the city. And I just played it today :rotfl: I really like it. It's really basic but surprisingly effective. The weight balls that are included are useless. I couldn't get them to fill with water so I just used my own weights. I like that all three workouts are on one DVD.

http://www.amazon.com/Walk-Pounds-C..._bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1233166373&sr=8-1

Gotta get DS1 dressed so we can head out and pick up DS4 at school. I can't believe I never dressed him and it's almost 1:30 pm!!! :rotfl2:
