Kristin, since your bringing the stroller, perhaps you can leave the ponchos and umbrella in the stroller basket? The one thing I do love about the Baggalini is that it's small enough to go on the rides. It's easy to swing from front to back so you don't have to take it off when you board a ride.

If you search around, many people on the DIS rave about them and get a lot of stuff in them. I now notice them all over the parks. Especially the lime green ones :crazy2:

I would think a large backpack would be cumbersome getting on and off the rides.

I bought a small sunscreen on a binder clip from walmart that I hook on my bag so I don't have to take the huge bottle into the parks. You can easily refill it.

If this ones too small, search for a sling so it's easier for you to manage rather than a big daddy backpack.

As a fellow Betty Crocker, that would have p!ssed me off to no end!!!!!!!!!!

The thing is, I'm no Betty Crocker! It's the one and only cake I make and that p!ssed me off.

Also, I didn't attend the BBQ. DS4 who was 2 1/2 at the time, was not invited. It was an "adult cocktail party BBQ" yes, that's what she called it. She asked me to get a sitter as no children were welcomed! They are retirees and do not like kids. So I sent DH with my cake. I thought it was a nice gesture to send a cake since I was not going. Well, they never waved hello or looked at me again! They didn't even acknowledge the birth of DS#2!

Their two daughters live 3,000 miles away and I know why! I told DH there is always a reason when children live that far away from their parents and never visit! :rotfl2:

The Gov was on yesterday and missed his court appearance to be on with them.

I love that it's handy, but the boys prefer the spray stuff. So I spray them down before we leave the resort and have the travel one as a back up for later in the day. I also use the stick sunscreen for their faces, it's the only way I can get sunscreen on their face for some reason. I seriously have way too much sunscreen around! :)

:scared: on the nasty neighbor...no more coffee cake for her!!!:rotfl:

Like Seinfeld... No soup for you! :rotfl2:

Mare~ How long ago did you post that recipe, is it on the old thread? I want to print it off and try it. I take breakfast a lot to church for our nursery workers (we have some dear workers who are so great to me, even come early for my sound checks) and i noticed you said it makes a lot so that might be good for me.

My hubby puts it on most of his food also. Whne i was a young bride I was offended, now i don't care, as long as he does the dishes. Put dirt on your food for all i care. :rotfl: Our DS is 6 1/2 and has been eating hot sauce on hos food since he was 3.

DH is fanatical about his sauce too.... only eats Texas Pete :rolleyes2

GF GAL IN ALMOST ONE WEEK!!!!! OMG I CAN"T BELIEVE IT!!!!!:cool1:

Here you go Annette, Mandy and Chan:

Coffee Cake

Cake
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs

In a bowl, combine flour, sugar and baking powder. Add milk, butter and vanilla. Beat with an electric mixer on low speed til combined. Beat on high speed for 2 minutes. Add eggs and beat 2 more minutes. Pour in to 9x13 pan (I spray pan with Pam first) then bake at 375 degrees for 30 mins or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Crumb topping
2 sticks of butter, melted
2 cups flour
2/3 cup sugar
2 tsps cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
pinch of salt

Mix all ingredients together and press on top of cooked cake.

Put back in over for 15 to 20 minutes until set and lightly browned.

When cool, cover with powdered sugar.

Thanks mare! 9x13 sounds perfect! Big enough for the nursery workers!

When you got 4 kids that are stair steps you learn to make friends in the nursery and Baptist are all about food! :rotfl:

I posted it right after New Years. I had to do a search for it, I couldn't find it either ;) It is large and I've never tried to split the recipe. I make it in a disposible aluminum dish (I like the 9x13 Hefty ones at Walmart, they come with the pretty plastic lids - maybe that's what makes them look store bought!:rotfl2:)

DH is fanatical about his sauce too.... only eats Texas Pete :rolleyes2

We don't have Texas Pete here. We had gotten this AMAZING Crab Cake recipe from the Disney Hilton Head Island resort that calls for Texas Pete. The chef who taught the cooking class actually left a few bottles on our door step to take home with us. The recipe is now DH's signature dish. Everyone requests them. They are the best crab cakes ever!! I once even lost the recipe and found it on the DVC board! The chef was even the one who first told me about the DISboards!

Oh, wow, now where's the recipe! :sad2: Don't tell me it's on the broken frozen computer!!! DH knows it by heart, but I like to follow an actual recipe!!

Let me know if anyone wants it! We keep this up, we can publish The GF Gals Cookbook :rotfl2:

GF GAL numero UNO!!!!!!!;)

It's a REALLY big cake. Think two boxes of Ultimate Entermann's Coffee Cakes side by side.

You need all that much butter to make the crumbs, don't skimp and make sure to use real butter.
