) we also had a bad time at Ohana breakfast- seated 30 minutes late- but at least it was because the place was PACKED!

We are skipping it in June just because we are coming from Pop, but we will go again in December since it is an easy stroll over from the GF. Plus DS thinks Stitch is funny (even though he hates the ride and has never seen the movie or the TV show!!)
As for the bday party, I am an early planner. I get way too elaborate with parties and themes
So this is always about the time of year that I start to think about it, watch for sales etc. I think I am going to go for Star Wars, but, bakers, don't hate me- I think I am going to order an ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins
All the party baking takes SO LONG and I need those couple of days before the party (while DS is still in school) to do last minute trip stuff that he can't know about.

Same reshapen bell cookie cutter (small though) in black fondant. Lightsabers are red fondant wrapped in black fondant handles- I can do these easily!!
I saw this cake, but I don't think I want to attempt it. It looks like an all day project

I think the Star Wars theme will be a fun tie in to the trip- and let's face it, I am all about matching themes!!
I was reading on -line last night about some parties people have had with a light side vs. dark side (one room is Jedi with all blue and green food/decs and one room is Sith with all red and black food/decs)... it definitely got the old party wheels turning in my head!!
