OK here is my pirate contribution: Drink up me hearty's, yo ho! pirate: I think I am gonna post this on the "mom need a drink" thread! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Channing~ I am gonna just say it, I am rooting for your October trip! I am hoping to meet sooner than later! Am I selfish or what? :rotfl: BUT....now I have to worry about the regular school calender also, and I am depressed about it :confused3 So I could only imagine how you feel!

Kelly I am so hot here, I wish I could send you some warm air and you send some cool air down here:headache: !

I forgot to mention my mom called me this morning and she is bringing the kids some goodies. She said she found a bunch if Christmas gifts from last year that she lost. :rotfl: She has done this every since I was a kid. She would call us into her room and say "here, this was your Christmas gift I lost" A lot has changed with my mom but it is good to know she is still doing some of the same ol' things! :thumbsup2

Good Morning. Just finished cleaning the house then I'm off to Target and lunch. I thought the new Disney show was awlful too. It was on the whole hour, but I wasn't paying much attention to it. It did nothing to make me want to look into DVC. I don't like the BLT rooms either, but the Treehouse Villas looked interesting. I watched the show to see if they had anything on about those, but didn't see anything. I don't think I would like to stay in a villa anyway. I don't want to cook or clean up on vacation..:lmao: We always valet park, it's just part of being on vacation and being pampered.
Mandy, glad your dad is home. This is fun, Dising during the week.:surfweb:

Mandy!! I want to meet you too!!!:goodvibes :thumbsup2

OMG! You HAVE to post that on the Drinkie thread!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Drink up me harties is right!!!pirate: pirate: pirate: LOL

I didn't even realize (duh) the coincidence of Jojo picking out her Minnie Mouse pirate style outfit today.:thumbsup2 DH pointed it out.:rotfl: TIRED.......

DH is off today....we are heading out to Woodfield for shopping and lunch!

OH!! LOL on the October trip. I just switched my flight from Sunday eve to Sat eve...I arrive 1 1/5 hrs earlier and added a Swan night on to the front of my stay.:rotfl: I am so wishy washy. Whatever happens.........I have time.

Talk to ya all later, have good days!:flower3:

Chan:)

Maxie NO cooking cleaning (or laundry )on vacation for me either....do enough of that at home...:)

Kelly How are you feeling?? Hope you are fully recovered...

Mandy I like the idea of getting Christmas gifts in the middle of the year... a little more to celebrate..

Channing Just go on the trip...you know you'll have a great time... I love the MNSSHP!!!

Well I guess I am the only one who likes the BLT rooms...:sad2: I dont like the look of the outside of the building either though...I think the CR looked majestic just there by itself...

I dont think we'll be staying in any DVC rooms any time soon anyway (DH has no interest in buying ..I showed him the new DVC pics )I always prefer CL rooms on vacation anyway ..I think that extra level of serivce makes the vacation even more relaxing....

Well I guess I'd better get going again Cant sit here all day!!!:rotfl:

Getting alot of cleaning done but had to take a quick Dis break :surfweb:.

Maxie......I'm the same way....no villa for us.....cooking and cleaning up on vacation is NO vacation for me either :rotfl:. I do it enough every day at home....I need to relax when I go away :rotfl:.

Chan.......it looks to me like you're going in Oct with all these changes you're making :rotfl: :rotfl:. But seriously.....if Lucy isn't too worried about making up the work...then maybe you should just go and have fun :confused3. But you still have time to think about it ;). Have fun shopping today with your DH :flower3:.

Ok all.....back to cleaning :headache:. Have a good one all :).

Deb :flower3:

The official lurker popping in :yay:

Chan...did you decide on your October trip??? I really would love to meet you while we are there!!

What do yall think of this plan...we plan on attending the MNSSHP. Since we have 2 little ones we need to relax at the resort that day. Would that be a good day to rent a cabana?

Oh, and speaking of cleaning...is it just me or do the bed sheets all need to be washed and changed to really feel like the entire place is *clean* ?? My OCD taunts me with that.

PS!! Kristin!!!! IMPORTANT FYI!!! Today is National Talk Like A Pirate Day!:thumbsup2

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRE you ready ye scurvy wenches to talk like a pirate?? pirate: (What kind of wench would I be if I didn't have this day marked on my calendar :rotfl: )

All together now :rolleyes1
Yoho, Yoho, A Pirate's Life for me...

Traci, party day is always pool day for us too. That is a GREAT time for the cabana. We did it last August on the PPP day.

I am off to meet DH for lunch... Drink up me hearties! Yoho!

Traci I think relaxing in a cabana on MNSSHP day is a great idea...we thought the cabanas made for a wonderfully relaxing day....

Speaking of sheets...have you seen the How often do they change the sheet tread...lots of opinions...:rotfl:

I always clean like crazy before a trip too(sheets and all) we must have the same OCD...:)

Going out to do some errands....hope everyone going out to lunch is enjoying..

Hi, Traci :wave2:. Nice to see ya back :flower3:. A pool/cabana day is a GREAT idea on party day. We did pool days the last 2 years before the party.........it's a nice way to chill out before the long party night :beach:.

And on the cleaning.......I'm like that with all the bathrooms :rolleyes1. Every other place in my house could be sparkling clean...but if the bathrooms aren't done...I feel as if the entire house is dirty :rotfl: :rotfl:.

All together now :rolleyes1

pirate: I'm going to have this in my head for the rest of the day :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:.

I saw that thread....boy some people get all bent out of shape :rolleyes1. And a SIMPLE question was asked . I've learned to stay out of those threads :rotfl:.

I always have to clean right before we go on vacation too.....changing/washing sheets included :thumbsup2. I like to come home to a nice, clean and fresh smelling house with clean sheets on the bed :flower3:. Plus I don't want to clean right when I get back from vacation :rotfl:. And I am constantly trying to get every stinkin' piece of laundry washed beforehand too....sometimes it doesn't work out that way but I do my best . Because I definitely don't do laundry on vacation so I have LOTS to do when we return.....so getting all I can done before we go is a plus :).

yo ho yall (that's the oklahoma redneck way of pirate talk)...I saw that thread about changing sheets. OMG  I can't believe that people can be so hateful. All she wanted to know was how often they are changed...yo ho geeze.

Thanks for the cabana insight! I think I may go ahead and do that the day of the MNSSHP. We are going to CP that morning for breakfast, spend a couple of hours at MK then go back to the GF for a day of R&R until the party!!!

OK heres a funny for you all!

I was cleaning my bathroom ( Our ONLY bathroom for 6 people, sorry but I have to make that point LOL) And I had cleaned and mopped and had come back in to dust off the shelves that hold decorative things but I got a phone call. I laid the Swiffer down and took the call and came back to find my DD2 "cleaning" the toilet with my swiffer! :scared1: Good thing the toilet was squeaky clean, but it was my last duster so I just shrugged it off and figured I could let it go till next week. :rotfl: The funny thing is she and my DD3 are like my shadow and "clean" all the time. WE got a small little dust buster type thing for them to crawl under the table and clean with after meals. They have a doll house and a few months ago the 3yo was in her room cleaning the doll house with babywipes! The nursery workers at church say she is the best cleaner and tells other kids "your not doing it right, you don't put cars in kitchen, only food and dishes go here" LOL! I love that they want to help but I wish the 2 yo was not so obsessed in cleaning the toilet!

By the way those swiffer dusters can absorb a ton of water, who knew? :confused3

That is so funny :rotfl: :rotfl:. How cute about the doll house :cutie:. Hopefully they'll be good little helpers when they get older :rolleyes1....although that tends to change when they are finally old enough and able to clean :rotfl:.

Too cute, Mandy!!

Have to put my 2 cents in on the BLT decor - I do not care for it at all! I just assumed it would be closer to what the CR rooms have - kinda Mandarin Oriental- ish. Yikes - they are wacky looking! :confused3 We definitely won't be staying there- but we don't care for the DVC resorts at WDW anyway!

Dh and I are going out tonight...... well are suppose to. Our babysitter has not called me back! I have been calling since Wednesday night and am pulling out plan b!:scared1: I hope I can get a sitter because I am looking forward to a nice Dinner ALONE with DH!

Mandy Your swiffer story is so funny!!!:rotfl: (I love my swiffer BTW-use it every day) What is it with little ones and the toilet....also how cute that they copy you and help;) you clean...

Just think the more bathrooms you have the more toilets to clean...

Hope you have a sitter and can enjoy your night out...:thumbsup2

bloody wenches :lmao: that was funny.

Is anyone else at home this Friday night not getting to enjoy a lovely, quiet evening with their spouse?? If your computer had sound you could hear my kids screaming in the background :scared: Arrrrrrrr! how's that for pirate talk you jolly roger sea dogs ?!

I need to strip the beds and wash the sheets tomorrow. The house is clean, but the sheets need changed, therefor, it doesn't really feel truly clean.
