OK, so I have mine started, and it is looking real good! Oh plus it smells good! I am cleaning out closet's today and getting rid of things. So many boxes already for donations! I figured I would get everything done now, so I can enjoy being out on my deck when the weather does break! :goodvibes

I am also thinking of maybe going to WDW at the end of May, waiting to see what the Dr's say about me going. I am feeling so much better, OK so I am still slow, I just take my time! Call me slow-poke if you may... :lmao:

My WHAT? :rotfl2:

I hope you get the ok to go to WDW soon! :teeth:

not yet, i like to do it later - right before DD gets out of school, so I can slide throught he summer - I also enjoy spending time on our deck!!!!...then I will do a really top to bottom cleaning again a little while after she goes back to school, to get ready for the Holidays ( a little soon I know, but we vacation in the fall and "holidays here start in the fall with a barrage of birthdays!!!)

Hope you get the go ahead for your trip!!!! :sunny:

You go, girl! I think Spring Cleaning is against my religion, or something.

Actually, I have been doing some hoeing out - closets and the cellar.

Hope you get to go to WDW soon! I am sure it will greatly aid in your recovery.

Nothing induces Spring Cleaning like a head lice scare! Last weekend one of my DD's best friends spent the night. We found out Sunday night that she was crawling with head lice, a pretty bad case. I had already washed all of the bedding on Saturday after she left but I did it ALL again, vacuumed every square inch of the house (furniture included), washed every stitch of clothes that wasn't put away in a drawer. You get the drift. So far no lice or nits on any of us in the house so I'm praying that we're safe. After 2 months of head lice infestation when DD was in 1st grade I'm very diligent. the good news is that now that DD is 12 she used products in her hair and head lice hate that stuff!

Wow. So people really do this so called "spring cleaning" eh?

Interesting.

Maybe I'll hope on the bandwagon once I take my Christmas tree down...

and no, I'm not kidding. ;)

Yeah, I thought that the spring cleaning thing was an urban legend!

You are joking about the Christmas tree, right? :teeth:

I haven't started yet...I've never actually done a full scale Spring cleaning but I REALLY need to this year. I always have the urge to clean the house in the middle of the work day, but by the time I get home the urge is LONG gone.

Hmmm, please clarify what that is exactly. Like always I'm imagining things. :rotfl2:

I really meant to do it last weekend!!!!

Yeah, the ornaments have been off for about 2 weeks... the tree along with the decorated garland around the window are still up... I made a promise to DBF that they'd be down by this weekend :rotfl2:

I haven't yet, but I plan to start this weekend. I usually give myself 3 weeks to do a thorough clean up of the entire house, including basement.

I actually pondered spring cleaning the other day. I am formulating in my mind how I am going to do it. Do I go room by room, do everything in the room before I move on to the next room, or do I go task by task, and do ALL the dusting, and ALL the closets, and ALL the windows...you get my drift.

So far, room by room is winning....seems more organized to do it that way, and I'll be better able to keep track of what's done.

I usually do it last week of March, first week of April. Most of my friends think I'm nuts for still doing Spring cleaning!

I might not do it, but I don't think you're nuts. Afterall, things still do get dirty! :rotfl:
