The last film we saw was Chicago and I recommend it but don't know if it has finished "doing the rounds" yet.
My older son went to see Johnny English - he is a real fan of Rowan Atkinson and Bean - but he came home disappointed saying it really wasn't funny, a naff film. ( Much to the concern of younger son who is going to see it today .. he's been invited as part of a friend's party outing so he gets no say in which film they see!)
I also went to see Maid in Manhatten and thought it was really good another good one is Two Weeks Notice with Sandra Bullock and the divine Hugh Grant.
I recently saw Adaptation with Nicholas Cage, might not be eveyones 'cup of tea' but I loved it
Saw Johhny English this week and fell asleep.I thought Shangai Nights was good fun .They are more for kids though.
Am going to a preview of Phone Booth I think it's called tonight ,I got free tickets with The Standard.
I saw Phone Booth last night,I thought it was OK I thought he acted ......OKish!
It was more the type of film I'd be happier to have got out on video and watched at home. When i go to the cinema i like to see a film that makes it worth the effort of going out! (Well it is an effort for me )
From what I read in magazines/newspapers we are all going to be sick of the sound of Colin Farrell's name soon
He is 'the' actor of the moment Shirley but he started out in Ballykissangel. I havent seen anything he has been in as far as I know, but he has been a big hit over in the USA
