yes, exactly. everyone in her family is in nj, she is alone in AZ and living in a house alone independently. she is very set on the idea you need a shot you call your dr. and they will book you an appointment, otherwise, since they don't do that (they don't do that anywhere with covid) you just wait until your dr. calls you (which won't happen). After you signed your grandmother up, where is she supposed to get her shot exactly? Because there is no way even if we made her an appt. and achieve that milestone she would get in a car and drive somewhere strange by herself. she drives, but just to the store and back. Also she has no email and doesn't know what a portal is and doesn't use a computer (which is ok if we were doing it here i guess for her).
I think they will need in America to bring the vaccine, when in plentiful supply, to the local senior centers to help with healthy non medical seniors. i do feel bad for all of them.
