Ead79: What a shame about your ankle, and worse, about your wretched boss! I like the confidence in your "voice" when you talk about finding something else! You GO!
Goofysuze, there was a misunderstanding about GoofyJoofy - THEY ARE NOT CANCELLING!! He was posting an availability for WL CL for someone else who cancelled, and some of us misread it and jumped in with condolences....nice to see you here again! What is UP with those new clients? Who has that kind of nerve? Not me!! I got a mini-audit on my charitable deductions this year and nearly had a stroke, even though I had all my documentation!! (As an aside, I'm sure you're ready to abandon mountain and snow for the sunny flatlands, but writing from dreary flatlands right now, I have to say, I read about your snow-covered mountains and said, "oooooh!" PRETTY! I have to wait for the main page to reload to find out which mountains are yours, because I don't recall from where you hail....)
Minniesota: I'm so glad you had a great trip! I was happy to read about your experience with the Candy Lady, and of course, your dad's special experience as well!
Tammy, I've never seen Nightmare Before Christmas. We're pretty conservative with our video options for the kids. At 3 and 6, am I likely to consider it appropriate for them? I don't know much about it...
I have a bit of NEWS! Not ONLY does it look like I'm going to have a getaway to Disney with my mother and the girls in May (DH is not thrilled and isn't convinced we'll have any money or plastic available after this trip) -- Mom's first trip EVER! No, now there's MORE!! DH and I are starting to talk about going for Nights of Joy next year --- SHHHH, don't tell them ---
without the kids!!!!!!!
He was talking about getting away to a tropical island together, and I said that wasn't likely to happen, but I'd be willing to do a long weekend getaway next year to NoJ....his eyes bugged out and he said, "You would????" (I do NOT leave my kids, except for work. Went on an overnight women's retreat in September, first overnight away from my kids except for work in over six years). But by then they'll be seven and four, and I think we could do a long weekend....
He said, "Would you want to go to Disney World three times in one year???"
Duh.
So I think we might do it! And for our very first getaway together since kids....I think it warrants CONCIERGE, right????
WL is his dream resort...I'll pay careful attention, after we get back from this trip and have had a peek, to see if their CL IPO gets its act together, and then try to get it!!
Happy, happy,
Kris
