k&a&c'smom: Martha's Vineyard was wonderful... as always! We rented a house for the week and did nothing but, go to the beach, eat, relax, SHOP (lot's of great little shops in the town we stay in!) and eat some more! We all look forward to this trip every year.. wouldn't be summer without it!

 HAVE A MAGICAL DAY EVERYONE!

annamonte - sounds like heaven! We stayed at Seaside, FL last summer, and fell in love with it, same kind of atmosphere. Rent a cottage, lay on the beach, eat, shop, great! We would love to go back there, someday! Much closer than the Vineyard, so we probably will make it there!;)

I found my dining room table! [/QUOTE]

I'm so jelous! That is my New Year's resolution every year since I had children! Its so hard to keep track of all those papers! I throw the junk mail out ASAP but things still pile up. When I get home from work the kids want/need my attention and they are more important than paper work! Then I get too tired for these old eyes to see the papers after they go to bed. (I'm still trying to get used to progressive eye glasses.) I should be going to bed earlier (get off the Dis boards at night) and get up early to deal with it. I do often feel like I'm loosing control. Is there any hope that it will get easier when the kids get bigger? Everyone tells me NO but I still hope it will!

Actually this year's New Year's resolution was weight loss and I'm finding that one much easier than keeping the dining room table in sight.

Debbie-will you be doing a trip report? Want to hear more details on your trip/suite!

ROTFL! I have that same table "problem", too!!!!

just popping in to say HI! to all the lizards!

Trying to get everything done....LOL! ....before we take off on Sunday!:teeth:

I'll be taking alot of pics of BC CL, SAB, Dolphin Suite and CL, grotto pool, and the mysterious 14th floor of the CR!!!!

Looking forward to meeting Lynn, Donna and Steve!!!!

And....when I return, we'll get this LIZARD Meet planning started!::yes:: :sunny:
Start thinking about dates....first week of March, first half of May....? just some thoughts.....:earsgirl:

Leaving out some mini eclairs and other tasty goodies!
Help yourselves!!!!:wave2:

BambiTamby, I EAGERLY await your pictures of the illusive CR 14th floor! We've got it booked for December of 2005, and I need some good pictures to dream about until we get there.

A Lizard meet in spring sounds lovely to me! I wonder which would be better for crowds/room rates--March or May? Anyone know?

BT I like the beginning of May! That sounds good for me. I usually do my girls trip with my friends the beginning of March.
I really look forward to planning the trip. I can't wait to see your pictures when you get back. Have an awesome trip!:)

I too had the table problem. My solution was to get rid of the table!!!! With the remodeling I had my husband toss the old dining room set so I can get a new one once the walls are all painted!:Pinkbounc

The problem with May crowds is you get all the kids graduating from prep schools and college, who tend ti want to go to WDW before they start working in the REAL world!

Personally, I like March, the weather here is abominable - great place to escape to in WDW!

I've put out some HPnotiq as a late night cordial and some chocolate eclairs - Help yourselves!:wave2:

I love the beginning of March! That is why I go with the girls then. they could all join us as they are LLs also. Easter is early this year, the 27th or 28th of March. We stay at the bWI and hve a grand time. I am sure they would love to meet everyone I have been talking about!

I KNEW we were simpatico Kerry:bounce: . BTW, how are YOU feeling these days!

Either sounds good to me too. :) Kerry, I'd love to meet your friends, I'm sure we would all get along fabulously. ::yes::

I did look up the resort seasons, and March is in peak season whereas May is in regular season. Rooms would be less expensive in May, so that might be a consideration.

ROOM WAVE

The lost child has returned!! :D

I have been so incredibly busy.... Summer. And then I have been obsessed with airfare. Well, got my airfare today. It was $250-$300 more than I thought I would spend, but.... we're going to DisneyWorld!!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Super pixie dust to all in need. :lovestruc

I have an early breakfast meeting in a few hours, so no time to respond to all I read..... :chat:

I need to add one more day to my vacation..... we'll be there in time for the last MVMCP!!!!!!

I am cranked!!!!!! :jester:

But now I need to go to bed, as I finally was able to check into my favorite thread!!!!

And my vote is for early May!!!!!!::MinnieMo

mamause I am doing OK these days. Thanks for asking. My surgery is scheduled for the 18th of Aug. Once that is done I have at least a 12 week recovery, according to my doctor. Oh, well I will spend my time planning a trip and visiting everyone here!:)
I know March is regular season, but once cast rates are set for next year, usually by Oct.1, I can get rooms at a cast rate. May tends to be busier and a lot hotter and more humid than March. Maybe we'll have to do 2 meets, one for March and one for May!!!:bounce:
Couldn't sleep well tonight, but back to bed to try again. See everyone in the morning!:sunny:

May tends to be busier and a lot hotter and more humid than March.

Oh yes, it was hot and humid! But that's our favorite kind of weather, so we were happy. The March crowds were abominable when we were there this year, even in early March with a late Easter. May was less crowded, but more large groups and a lot of day trippers (school outings and the like.) The flower and garden show was an added plus for me. Overall I think we liked May better, but either one would likely work for us.

Had an impromptu cook-out last night that started out as a planning session for my nieces' 1st b-day and turned into a pool party. All I can say is 4 babies, 3 pre-schoolers, a dog, 3 cats and a pool = chaos!

Last day of work for me before I enter vacation mode - I can't wait!

BT - call me or PM me about Weds.

Good Morning Lizards!!

BT and steveandonna: Have a fabulous trip.

Count me in for a lizard meet. Is May when Disney will kick off the 50 year anniversary festivities?

Have a great weekend.

My birthday is May 6th:teeth: But I know I can't convice DH of another family trip and I think his mother would kill me if I left him home alone with 3 kids! Maybe I could get my sisters to take a couple of the kids! I'll aready have AP's and I've got $94 in airline vouchers!

I might be able to make a March meet. My AP expires May and I don't know if we will be renewing it. I want to go to DisneyLand next summer. My birthday happens to be the same day as DL! I would love to be there on July 17th, even if it is going to be packed! :Pinkbounc

That's hilarious!:rotfl: We have some of that in the fridge but I've never tried it :rolleyes1

BT have an amazing trip...can't wait to hear about it! I get the biggest kick out of how often you go to WDW, living in Texas!!:moped:

I am trying to be reasonable (?) and not plan another trip quite yet but it is hard. Christmas break, my birthday and Spring Break are all in the back of my mind...Also, thinking of taking my best friend to Portofino Bay for her 35th birthday in early November. I've never stayed there but been there once for dinner and the place is so totally her...HELLO Villa Pool:teeth:
It's also hard to decide where to stay the next time I do go to WDW. Can't wait to get back to BWI CL for a longer stay but I also am missing AKL Big Time. Loved GF this trip but BWI got me "over it" pretty quickly;) Probably won't stay there for a while - much as I love it. Also want to try Poly and get back to WL at some point... :teeth:

Right now I need to get back on track with cooking for my family, cleaning this house, exercising and reading books that aren't Disney guidebooks:rolleyes: It's hard, though...Thank goodness Disney is always there for me when I'm ready! It really is my favorite "hobby"princess:

A speedy recovery to KerryCM and MMausse and extra special Pixie Dust to WoodysRoundup :wave2:

LL meet next Spring - I'm all for it!!! If Easter is in late March, then I vote early May! My SWA credit is supposed to be used by April 2005, but if I don't go by then, they said I could get a one-time, 6-month extension. And, I love the F & G at Epcot!!:Pinkbounc

I love reading about all of the LL plans! If you can move it to Easter week, (Good Friday and the entire next week), or the summer, (late June through early August), I'll be there! Of course, I realize NO ONE wants to be in Disney during that time, so I can live vicariously through your plans!

I talked to Alice on the phone last evening and I am still laughing over yet another strange coincidence. Seems our husbands are in the exact same field of work! I have no idea how this didn't slip out earlier, but hearing it yesterday just made me smile! We are definitely twins separated at birth! (Now if only I can get Dolly, their horse, on the hockey team we'll be all set!) (Alice, tell your daughter if she reads this I am only joking! :))

Congrats on your trip, Steffy! Its always fun knowing your airfare is in line and you're in super planning mode!

P and PD for everyone who needs it. I hired private butlers for all of our bedrest lounge lizards! *Isn't it great how that virtual butler can be paid with virtual money?* Off to the hockey rink for us tonight. It is scary, but I think I miss the place! I know I won't be saying that in the Fall/Winter!

Magical wishes to all!
Debbie
