Mirlow-At the Poly I had to ask for juice boxes (I always got apple), chocolate milk always, and white milk any time other than breakfast. I was unaware of yogurt. Anyone know what kind? I was thinking of buying some at my grocery stop for baby but maybe I don't have to. It more a matter of having space in the small fridge than the cost.

Kerry/Goofy-thought you guys might be interested in these gift baskets from Phillips Candy House. I haven't been to the store but it is close to my office. I'll have to go check it out! They have the lobster lollypops in one basket so I'm hoping they sell them in the store.

lovesdumbo Thanks for the site. I am trying to put something together for the IPO. They have all been so great, especially Alana. My son and his family went to Maine for the week and will be going to the Lobster Festival(we usually go to but decided not to this year) at the end of the week. they are going to get some Maine things for me. We will be sending a New England gift box to the cast at the BW. They are so great. Jimmy just sent them a special Pepsi box. I thought Cape Cod Chips, the pops, some cranberry fudge from Plymouth, things like that would be nice. i like the baskets offered at Phillips though.

good evening all. i was just reading an old thread re overcrowding in the consierge lounges. one of the things mentioned was how, for example, 2 people will stay consierge and the rest of the fam will stay in a non-consierge hotel and pop on over for the goodies. (paying for the price of two and eating for the price of 4 and 5) has anyone experienced this lately?

Francie>> Welcome to our humble thread! I returned from AKL's concierge and I couldn't believe how empty it seemed to be compared to other trips. Sure, we went off hours frequently, but even when we were there right at five o'clock people didn't seem to have a problem finding tables. The Dolphin CL was never crowded, but once again we were hit and miss there. Seems we tend to sleep in during vacations so we tend to miss the breakfast rush.

PS I received a lovely letter from Tanya at AKL concierge concerning a question I had about granite in the sixth floor restroom. I am truly missing the CM's and the hospitality they exude. What can I say but I LOVE IT THERE! *AKL's lounge, not the bathroom, though they do have great looking granite in there!*

Just a quick good morning, because it's finally HOT here so I have to go out and get the pool ready for a day of swimming (so much for packing early). We can't get a Poly concierge room for MIL during our Oct. trip due to another ressie screw-up by CRO, but I won't go into details now. Don't know if we should have her share ours, book a standard room and pay for concierge privileges, or (least likely) try to talk DH into staying at a different resort. She's only joining us for 4 days, so sharing wouldn't be too bad...

steveanddonna I would try and book her a standard roomand get concierge privlages for her. The only problem would be how far away from your room would she be? If that doesn't matter go for it. Also I have had very good luck with upgrading upon check in to concierge. I did this at the Beach Club and BWI after being told no rooms were available.
I hope you have a fantastic time, I'm sure you will. Can't wait to hear all about your little minimeet with BT and others. Have fun!

Todya is also nice and hot here to finally enjoy the pool.
I am going to do nothing but pretend I am laying by the pool at the BWI!!!

I just saw a few posts up.So there is a disclaimer on this. I am not advocating (cheating the system.)You are allowed 5 people in your room. You can LEGALLY put your MIL on your room for the extra adult charge per night and get her club access. We have done this many times. You are perfectly able to do this. After all you could be a family with 5 in the same room that only you and DH are utilizing privledges for. Although I would be willing to bet, if you explain upon checking in that you wanted her nearer the lounge they would accomadate that as well.

I have read a little about CL but am not sure exactly what it is and what the extra cost is.

Also, I guess since we now try to stay at DVC properties, it might not be all that useful.
