BT - I think a BWI/AKL Lizard Meet is the only way I'll EVER get away from the Poly - force me to sleep around!

Welcome back to everyone recently returned and a big welcome to all the new lizards - I love to see how this thread just keeps growing! Have you all noticed all the other concierge-related threads popping up lately? Me-thinks BT is a real trendsetter!

Sounds GOOD to me, BT! Once I laid eyes on pictures of the Steeplechase Suite online, I knew I had to try to see it one day. It's right up my alley decor-wise for sure. Plus, getting to meet fellow LL's at that suite would be extra fabulous!

I can't wait for everyone to read the OFFICIAL trip report! Yes, we ahem... we... pool hopped. Well, not in the official capacity, but we do have pictures of us (DF, Mouseteacher, Disbug, Jgates, and moi) with all of our feet in the GF pool after the sorority unbirthday tea party. If three of us are lounge lizards does it count as pool hopping? LOL I also believe that Pal Mickey had his own lounge chair and ACK, a towel! BTW, the tea at the GF is not to be missed! The boys wandered around playing at the arcade, but all the girls had a great time sampling the delicious delicacies from the GF tea room. (pool hopping at the Poly coming soon!) Alas, no one had a drink mug to try to use at the wrong counter service! (please take this all as a joke, as we were in hysterics doing it!) To the GF staff we met and "questioned", thank you for your time and your sense of humor!

Janet2k and Nutz4disney>> I loved meeting you in the lounge! Thank you so much for taking time out of your evening to chat with us! DH called later that night asking what our plans were that day and my response was, "We had a party in our suite with fellow Dis'ers". He, of course, doesn't get it, but understands the tie that binds us together! Good luck with your top secret plans! My lips are sealed!

Last night, upon trying to show DH pictures of our suite, I ran into BT's pictures! Can you believe it? Janet2k, Bambi, and us all in the same suite area! Its a regular Dis corner! Janet and Bambi had the fifth floor, we were on the fourth without the giant dome balcony, but still with a double length balcony on the king/living room side and a single on the queen/bunk side. Oh I wish I were there now!

I envy everyone making plans for the LL meet! You're all going to have a fabulous time! Our sorority meet went very well, and it was so nice to tour the parks and share meals with people who not only do I consider my friends, but they ARE my friends!

Clothes still need to be put away. Why do we pack so much that never sees the light of day? What possessed me to pack heels I would NEVER wear? Guess I'll need to plan another trip to see if I can get my luggage down to size!

I left out pastries, tea sandwiches and fresh fruit for everyone! Try the smoked salmon tea sandwiches!

Another strict bedrest person here as well.
from 30 weeks 1 day, till I delivered at 35 weeks to the day. I was inhouse( hospitol) 5 weeks away from my kids an hour away to be exact. .....
Same thing they told me one of my twins was possibly Downs/Trisomey 18. Everything that could go wrong did. It was a rough time. But everything turned out in the end and both babies were perfect. If you have any questions. Please feel free to PM me. Hang in there!

Dear Woody-all of our prayers and PD to you and your baby. Another bedrest mom here-was on bedrest with both of my kids and I remember how stressful it is(being a labor/delivery nurse is not that helpful, believe it or not). Take each day as it comes and visit the boards for some strength- you can borrow ours for a while

The minor part of the problem is placenta previa. Here is the dangerous part... I've been bleeding heavily and doctors discovered a 6cm by 2cm mass in my uterus. It causes risk to myself and the potential for death of the baby (if the growth tears away from the placenta). It is attached to it. I will keep you posted as I know more but I won't post much more here about the medical specifics. I'll use PM's for that. Let's keep this thread on the concierge track!!!

Kerry, I couldn't have said it ANY better. Can you imagine the "surprised" looks on Jackie, Robin's, and Pete's faces when we all strolled (limped/hobbled in my current state) into the Innkeeper's Lounge. They might just have to change the name of the place to the Dis Lizard Lounge .

Of course, you & I know well that even as we "speak" Jackie & Robin & Pete are checking out this thread as well. Hi y'all .

Picture it - we'd just walk into the lounge and in full Disney regalia, s ay "We're baaaack!"

I met a fellow LL today!!!! LovesDumbo and I met at the mall and had a nice talk and shopped in the Disney store!!! She is so sweet, even bringing me little gifts for my granchildren. It was so nice to meet her. lovesdumbo, great meeting you today!

mammause I think they would love having us all there. We'd probably make the other guests , but oh well. When I was there in March a couple were sitting at the desk making some PS when Scott walked in and said hi to me. The man then asked me how often I come to get the welcome from everyone around. I told him it is the only place to be. Later in the week I saw the same couple in the elevator and they stopped me to tell me how right I was. I love it there and would have so much fun with all of you there also. Let's get planning!!

Kerry-you beat me to posting! How great to meet you. I now understand why BWI CL staff sent you Bubbles-you are just as cute as he is! He is so perfect for you!

I've got the solution for driving the other guests crazy-we'll just have to book all the CL rooms with us Lizzards!!! When my children get a bit older BWI is on the list. Do they have CL rooms for 5?

We never stayed at BWI, with all these great reviews I guess we will have to try it sometime.

I have to say I am missing the IPO for our trip in September. DD just told me she wants to go to Chef Mickeys to see Donald Duck. I guess I have to call and make PS's. I am looking forward to staying at the Dolphin and sleeping in those Heavenly beds, but I am spoiled and want someone to make all my arrangements for me.

Don't forget that there is a concierge desk at the Swan and the Dolphin where you can make PS's in person, or you can just touch dining on your room phone and do the same thing. We're always making last minute PSs so those options come in very handy!

Woody, I have heard of some amazing stories of where women are going through tough times during their pregnancy and birth of their child, but in the end everything was alright. Hang in there, you never know what miracles may develop.

canjunfan - I'll be thinking of you next week while I'm camping with the boys. Now in case anyone gets the wrong impression, there is no Lounge, and no suites. But seeing the joy on a little boys face as he learns a new knot or starts whittling for the first time, is precious.

BT, mmause, & KerryCM - I think you guys will have as much fun planning a DISLizard meet as you will doing the meet.

Kerry & LovesDumbo - I think that is great that you guys met.

hockeymom & Janet2k - that meet at the lounge & suite sounds very special.
