We are arriving at WDW on Christmas day, we are driving up and I am giving us plenty of time since I really dont know how the roads are going to be, we expect to arrive around 1:30 pm. I know check in is at 3:00 pm but I want to be in line if there are any to be able to get into our room as soon as we can We are staying at the Pop Century, I have Reservations at 1900 Park Fare for 5:40 pm.........I Know busy and crowded on Christmas day, I suggested to hubby that we drive to the Grand Floridian because I dont know how full the busses are going to be that day so my question is this, Should we drive to the GF and if we do how much is their Valet parking or can you just park in there parking lot.......Thanks in Advance!!!! You should drive to any resort that you plan to visit. Valet parking is ... um ... I think $7. You can park for free across the street, but it's a bit of a walk to the resort. We usually drop off one adult and the kids at the door and the other adult parks the car across the street. Since it's Christmas day the busses may not be running to the MK from POP depending on what park closure level the MK is at.

I have a related question. Will the resort parking lots be full. Over Memorial Weekend, we ran into this problem at both AKL (where we were staying -- permitted to park in short term parking overnight) and GF (should have used valet since it's free with DDE but that's another story!). We have dining ADR's at several resort restaurants Christmas week. Normally, we'd drive to them.
