Well if he doesnt like hearing our voices in WDW then he can b****r off back home!! ;)

I had noticed it and really didn't know how to take it:eek:
I guess he doesn't like us 'Brits' coming and spending our money - sorry to disappoint him but we're coming in Dec, like it or lump it 'love':rotfl:

and he's unfortunate to have us going over twice this year!
life is too short for moans and groans about trivial things

I have put a reply on there, but I don't belive it was a Brit he was hearing....I mean who here uses the word "ghastly" !

Don't you think that his thread is 'GHASTLY !!!' :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

(cos we all talk like that, don't we ?? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: )

I dont think he likes us very much, lol, bet my accent would stick out lol, Deep Barnsley (think bairn lol)

"Oh crikey! that post is terribly ghastly!" LMAO :rotfl:
What a nutter!
oooohhhh I'm so tempted to reply.
What does he want American only Disney???:confused3
I hope I get something for 'the year of a million dreams' and I can rub it in his face!
lol

LOL Even though I'm not from the UK ;) I had a little reply :)

I think (and hope) you've misinterpreted the original poster's intent - if you carry on to his next post in that thread I think he is just genuinely interested as to why there seems to be a disproportionate number of British as to other foreign visitors.

I notice he seems to have stopped posting on that thread now though LOL.

Us Brits must have scared him off!!

I have added my fury also, he wouldn't be allowed to say that about gays or blacks, why do we allow it against us?

p.s. I love the word ghastly and use it a lot, along with phenomenal and marvellous:rotfl2:

Wonder if the OP is a troll ~ only registered in January. Yet is posting quite a controversial post.

We visited NYC in the March after 9/11. I lost count of the amount of Americans who thanked us and wished us well for travelling to the US.

I agree with Libby. I don't think the OP meant to be offensive, but was curious about the large number of British visitors in WDW compared to the numbers of other non-American visitors, based on the accents he/she hears in the parks.

I don't find the post offensive, but I do detect an air of irritibility. To me, it does come across as slightly confrontational, rather than the musings of someone with a genuine interest in the topic.

The majority of US residents cannot pick out our accents at all, I am from the North West and have been asked if I am Welsh, Australian and even Canadian numerous times.
I have often got the impression they think we all speak like Julie Andrews and Prince Charles.

I'm blonde and very pale and I've been asked if I'm Scandanavian or French:)
