I too thought along the lines of Libby, I thought he was just being curious about why we go all that way when we have 'Disney' closer to home which is understandable. Of course if he went to DLP he would understand. I didn't find the original question offensive but I didn't read to through all the posts.
I have some sympathy for him,
I don't like seeing shell suits and football shirts all over WDW and those regional accents...please!
Since the advent of charter flights, the parks seem to be full of brits complaining that they cannot get a decent cup of tea, that there is no fish 'n chips at every corner and why can't you get British food in the supermarkets
I know just how the OP feels, I hate hearing all the Americans when I go to Amsterdam or London or Bath...
Why do they come to Europe don't they have any culture over there
Having read the OP I gave the poster the benefit of the doubt and assumed that he was was just asking the questions out of curiosity rather than in some racially bigotted way
It's sometimes very difficult to judge the 'tone' of a post. A poorly worded question or comment can be quite easily taken the wrong way when it was meant in jest.
I've invited him over to the UK & DLP boards and to Trans-Atlantic chat so he can say hello
Ummmmm, no they don't We felt quite homesick for Europe after watching the French film in Epcot In fact we went to France the following year - not DLP, somewhere where you can buy lunch for less than the price of a Eurostar ticket
He has become very sarcastic now! Could someone please explain a troll? I'm assuming it's someone who just wants to start trouble but why would they want to :
