Has time stood still?

We go a week on Friday, and I could have sworn that time actually stood still for a bit today!!!
Each day seems to be getting longer and longer. I know I'm impatient (even at the best of times), but I think I'm slowly going mad... (it could well be too late actually)
I'll have to busy myself with a bit of last minute planning, there's always a first time for everything!

:D Ian, time may have stood still today but rest assured when you are in Florida time will zoom by at the speed of light. Our three weeks went by just like that and when I returned to work today it was like I had never been away, I could have cried!

Know the feeling. I returned to work today as well after our 17 days in Orlando. Not happy !

Spent the day thinking about what I was doing exactly 3 weeks ago on our first day (allowing for the time-difference of course !). You know....

1.45 pm = 8.45 am - waiting for the rope to drop at the MK !
4.45 pm = 11.45 am - lunch with Pooh at CP !
Now (11.25 pm = 6.25 pm) - just returned to MK after break !

Sad or what !

We've still got 4 weeks to go and to me this seems worse than when we had 10 weeks to go rolleyes: I wonder if Einstein would be able to explain this strange phenomenon of how the closer you get to a holiday the longer every day seems to get;)

I know exactly how you feel. Booked ours 18 mths ago and now got 3 weeks to wait. Every day is taking forever. The best thing to do if you have just returned is book again for next yr and the time will fly by.

LOL! It's so true what Toni says. While you're waiting to go on holiday it drags by and on holiday time picks up speed and zooms away:(

just try to relax and enjoy the excitement

also try to take time out whilst you're there to take in everything around you and not just be rushing to get to the next pre-planned scheduled stop

and remember when you get back you'll always look back and thing you wished you had done this or that and/or done somethings slightly differently

remember there's always next trip !

enough deep and meaningful from me

enjoy

I felt exactly the same when we were going - the last week seemed to take forever to pass. DIS help keep me sane......

Don't worry........ United are still in business and you'll be there soon....LOL;)

Have fun:D

Thanks all, time is still slowly creeping on...
Nice of you to remember Cath about my United worries, (although I think I may have brought it up more than once in the past few months, I'm not obsessing at all am I!)
The holiday seems really close now, we've just been to Asda (minus the children who were at nursery) to buy the sweets and crisps we usually take with us, don't you just find that 'chips' in the US are only sold in bin bag sized bags, lol. Americans just have to be bigger and better...
I suppose that's one of the things we like about it!!!
