We made reservations using hotwire@$139 per night ( I think.) We had 2 rooms, myself and DH, DSs (ages 16). Upon check-in I presented my Loews card and asked again that the rooms be connecting. We were not originally assigned to connecting rooms, so the front desk clerk did some rearranging and found us 2 very nice rooms, a king bed for DH and myself, and 2 queens for the boys. She mentioned something about a free upgrade. If I remember correctly the room #s were 2589 and 2591. Nice view of the lake and pool.
On the 2nd am James from the front desk called and asked if we would be willing to move. Seems a group of teens from NY were expected in and they wanted to put them on the same floor. We said sure.
Holy Cow!!!!!!!! They moved us to the Governors Suite! The master bedroom was huge and the bathroom had a huge whirlpool, you could sit in the tub and watch TV. The shower was quite large as well. There was a toilet and bidet.
The living area was large with another TV. The dining room had a 12 seat table and there was even a kitchen arean witha small fridge and an ice maker.
The boys room was similar to the one they were previously in.
Also had turn down service in both rooms.
The hotel was clean as were the rooms. We found all the Loews employees to be friendly and helpful.
Needless to say we enjoyed our stay and didn't feel we were treated any differently than guests staying at the rack room rate.
Have a great trip!
