Has anyone stayed at the Grand Californian Concierge? How was it?

I got a good annual pass rate and am curious? What are the amenities?

You will love it, VIP check in, continental breakfast, snacks and drinks threw the day,
wine and cheese in the concierge lounge, use of the gym, DVD player in room, nightly bed turn down with chocolates on pillows, personal concierge services in the lounge for resies ect.
Oh and those great robes.
They really take care of you.
We just booked our concierge level room at the GC, great deal with DC and fall getaway.

It was a great hotel. I have stayed at many of the WDW deluxe hotels and this is just as good if not better because of it's location. Our room was a minute or less walk from to the private entrance to DCA. Everyone was really nice. The food at Storyteller Cafe was good and we enjoyed spending some downtime in the lobby of the hotel. Have a great stay.

Please pay no attention ( or half attention) to my comments above. i didn't see that you had asked about concierge. We did not stay in that part of the hotel. ooops.

May I ask about the AP rate you booked?
I just booked a package threw the DC and got a good deal on GC concierge and I still have a couple of days to change them without penaltys.
I am going to check out the AP rates to see witch is better.

Was that with a California Adventure view it was either 269 or 279. Not conceirge it was 149 or 159 but that was no special view. Last time they upgraded me to a Cal Adventure view and my little boy 4 loved the view so much I was suprised. So I did that again. I am a Disney Club member, AAA too and I am seeing the deepest discounts for annual passholders generally. Makes sense, they are expensive and they want us to keep coming back and parting with our $$$ as often and as much as possible!

since my trip isnt till Nov, there is no specails with the AP for that time of year up yet,
I am saving a little over $400 with the DC and the fall getaway package
4 nights for the price of three and five day park hopper pass for the price of a three day.
all this for a couple bucks more then the price of our room with the AP discount.
and a TPV I will request a room overlooking the entrance to CA, great veiw day or night and a minute walk to the park entrance.
Oh and request a extra robe as soon as you check in they go fast. great for wearing to the pool or out on the balcony when its chilly.
The same goes if you want a specail room.
