Has anyone stayed at BCV yet (after 6/22/2020)? Reports?

Don't forget there is also the beach to play at. Bring a bucket and a shovel for him and let him build to his heart's content! :)
Yes, that's a plan too, but half the beach and walkway of crescent lake is now blocked off. Looks like NBA may be using Stormalong Bay

Losing SLB and the ability to use park hoppers to pop into Epcot for dinner and I kinda wish I hadn't booked BCV. Regardless, that's where we are going to be in August . . . . .

it is definitely not open until 11. I believe it closes at 9 with the restaurant. I will check for the specific time today but nothing is open that late anymore.

Would it be possible for you to ask if table service restaurants are doing take out?

Like take out from Beaches? They are not doing to go orders. It is pretty easy to get in there though with the limited ADRs, if you are staying at the resort, you could probably just walk up and get seated during lunch or dinner.

I'm not sure about other locations, probably not if they didn't already do take away. Most locations are running on skeleton crews so there wouldn't be anyone extra to handle those orders.

Does anyone know whether or not the boats to DHS will open when the park opens?

My 4 year old NEEDS a slide. He’s been going on them by himself since he was 2. No fear. And will go on them for hours. A basic pool would be boring after maybe 45 minutes.
I believe none of the slides are open so prepare him for that. Slide was closed during one of our visits for maintenance...there was no crying (5 yr old)...too bad, so sad, **** happens...

They will not be running. No date for the boats, but I don’t expect them to start before August 24
So if the boats aren’t running to DHS, does anyone know if there is another option to get there besides walking, driving or Uber?

Take the skyliner from international gateway. Probably faster than walking to the dock at Yacht club anyway.

Agreed. I hope BWV will limit pool guests if it gets super busy. We are staying at more resorts than usual this trip to add some variety with the parks closed.
At BLT they had lots of people working the pool and advising the 'rules'-- i.e. where to sit, not having to wear mask when in pool or sitting but to wear it if you are just walking around or going to the bar, no moving of chairs and to push chair backs forward when leaving for the day so they could be cleaned. BLT staff also mentioned that they were not limiting pool time because it was not that busy and they were cleaning everything, all pool handrails every 20-30 minutes it seemed.

We were going to go to the BWV Luna pool but we didn't see many chairs left and no staff at gate to ask. While looking in the pool area it just seemed like a normal pool day at any other time. Most people waiting in line at the bar and walking around were not wearing masks and were not social distancing, so we passed. We walked over to BVC later, we weren't there to swim just looking around after dinner at Beaches and Cream, and staff approached us right away to explain which pools were open and where activities were, they were very welcoming and friendly:)
Thank you for your very useful post.

It's weird. I'm the same at age 45. I really love a waterslide. That's Disney for you. Of course, I might accept a hot tub in place of the slide. My son wouldn't, though.

Does anyone have an idea as to what time the Skyliner transportation will start from EP- DHS with EP opening at 11:00 and DHS at 10:00?

Idk how I missed this, bit why is SAB closed and when does it reopen??
It's closed because the Yacht and Beach club hotels are closed. It will hopefully reopen with the hotels after 8/24 when the NBA leaves Yacht Club. (Also, SAB requires a lot of lifeguards...)

BCV quiet pool is open, and if they are under capacity, BCV folks can go to the Luna Park pool at BWV so they can use a feature pool.
