Has anyone seen the Mary Poppins show?

Hi,

I was just wondering if there is a meet and greet after it or does she just leave? It is listed as a meet 'n' greet in the programme but if anyone could tell me that would be great as I am going this thursday the 3rd of July.

Hiya,

Mary Poppins is a little show, lasts about 10mins. They dance and sing and after the songs finish it's meet and greet.

We liked it, it's short and very well made, more or less all the songs included.

Once the show is over, all the characters spread out over the bandstand area at Main St Usa for the meet n greets.

They seem to be there for quite a while.

If it's anything like the meet n greet which we had, the 'scrum' to get their autographs/pictures was a hundred times worse than the meet n greet for Donald/Goofy/etc in the Studios. Maybe we were just unlucky with the crowd that we had but OMG, the pushing & shoving & parents shouting at other parents to stop pushing ...

We really enjoyed the show though

LOL Both days when we saw them, all the characters (except Mary and Bert) were just milling about, so we took pity on them and got some autographs and pictures .

It was tipping down with rain though one day, and overcast the next, maybe that had something to do with it.

There is a Mary Poppins show?!?!?! DD LOVES Mary Poppins! Will it still be on in mid-October, does anybody know? I can't find any parade/show information for that far ahead...

aw that's great thanks for letting me know. I would love to get a photo with Mary poppins but at the same time I shouldn't get too excited because I know what it's like to have to fight to get near them, i wish there was a better queuing system, even when you have been standing there for ages, some pushy parent comes a long and shoves their child infront like as though they have a bigger right to be there!

Hi Aveen!

Although I haven't seen the show itself I can totally relate with the comment about the queueing system...there must be loads of complaints and its a wonder nothing has been done about it....

Have a fab time away and take plenty photos to share with us on your return!!

I definately think something needs to be done about the brawl there is over characters.....hopefully some disney manager is reading this!!
