Has anyone rented a condo/vacation home near DL?

We're planning a 2-week trip to SoCal over Christmas and New Years, and I'm considering the idea of a condo rental (not by owner...that just scares me) for our stay. We are a family of four with two teenagers, and I'd like the extra space, a kitchen and most of all, a washer and dryer (I'm so tired of going to laundromats on vacation). I know vacation rentals are a dime a dozen near WDW, but I don't even know where to start to look for vacation rentals that aren't by owner for SoCal. We have premium AP's so we will be spending quite a bit of time at Disneyland (so it needs to be fairly close to DL), but we also plan to do day trips to the SD Zoo and WAP, the Reagan Museum, and probably Hollywood. We were just there in June but only had a week, and it was not enough time for me to even start relaxing, lol.

If you've stayed in a rental condo near DL, I'd love to hear about it. Thank you! :)

You might consider the Marriot Residence Inn.

I don't have any specifics but there was a good post by someone who stayed across Walnut Street in a place that is almost long but quite walkable to the gates. This may of been a year or two ago so it's buried deap. For reference Walnut St, runs behind the DLH and PPH. Staying there you obviously got the ameneties of a house and pool, but also saved $15 on parking because you could walk.

We've stayed at both of the Residence Inns near DL...they are nice, but I really want something with a bit more room and a washer/dryer.

No worries on the parking as we get free parking with our AP.

Thank you both for the ideas! :)
