Which one did you have agood expereince with? We are looking into this now. (not sure there's any spots left when we want to go this trip -but I thought I'd ask for recommendations anyway.)

We've had some threads lately on this topic, luvmyfam. I think there is one about renting popups on page 2 or 3 of this board. The SEARCH function appears to be down currently but you can also use the SEARCH THIS FORUM link and use key words like, "rent", "rental", "trailer", etc.

You'll get some hits for sure. Good luck! :happytv:

thanks I'll look again....the only thread I found by google was from 2008. when like an updated thread.

I know quite a few people who have rented a pop-up from Fort Camper Rental and have been very happy. They supply just about everything and even set it up in the Disney Theme you select.

Florida camper rental is an amazing family owned company. William & his family are professional. friendly and a great easy way to rent a camper. They have several to choose from. we used Florida camper rental last October, William had everything ready & waiting on us even the a/c was blowing. Couldn't have asked for anymore. The camper was also very clean & had everything all we had to bring was our food & clothes. :cool1::cool1::cool1:

I rented a pop up from Fort Camper Rental for our vacation the week before last. Great service and very comfortable camper.
January 2012 we rented a fith wheel from Make Camping Easy. Another great experience and great set up.
You can't go wrong checking either of them out.:thumbsup2

When we went down to the FW in October 2012, my parents elected not to drive their motorhome down. My mother found Moore Camping Rentals. The unit they got was nice and pretty roomy. They found his service fast, friendly, and communicative. They liked the fact their site was completely set up and the only option they didn't take advantage of was the trailer would have been preloaded with food. Moore's also had package deals with golf carts. So my parents could get the whole set up in one shot. When my wife and I were looking into a golf cart for ourselves. MCR provided a second one with no hassles and made that one pretty inexpensive. My parents said they would rent from them again the next time they would go back to FW. However, they would try a different layout since it would only be the two of them. My wife and I would recommend MCR to our family or friends would wanted to go to FW.

I hope this helps.

We rented from Greenberg RV, he was wonderful! Came and met us and set it up, the popup was immaculate, he was super easy to work with and he was very quick to respond to questions!

Prior to our son youngest deploying to afghanastan in 2011 we took the majority of our family to FW for ten days. We stayed in our 5er and rented 2 campers for my sons families from a local rental dealer. Both were in good condition. The company delivered and set up both, one a 36' the other a 30'. I would do it again. Others have posted names they have used. I am still trying to locate my packet which has the company we delt with. If I find it I will post the name and phone #.

Thanks for more info. I did check out one company & the guy didn't followup on my emails.
So I'm now looking for other companies.

We just returned a few weeks ago from the Fort. My son has always wanted to try camping in a trailer since we tent camp every summer. We rented a trailer from greenbergrvflorida.com, Matt the owner was great to work with always quick to answer questions. He rents everything from pop ups to 32 foot trailers, our cost was $699 plus tax for the week on a 32 footer, this included everything from bed linens to propane. I looked at many rental sites and found many had older trailers that looked ok but have have alot of use for the same price. Matt seems to not keep his trailers very long before he sells them and replaces with new ones. When we arrived at the Fort and got a site number I text Matt and he arrived within 30 minutes with the trailer which was brand new, we helped remove plastic off the mattresses as they mounted the flat screen tvs. Overall this was a great experience and I would do it again, and my son loved having his own room in the rear with three bunk beds and a tv.

We've used myrvhotel several times and have had great service every time. In fact, we are using them again this weekend :)

Sundancer Thanks for the greenburg rv info! :worship:

We are camper less for now but not sure what we want to buy to replace our scamp 5th wheel. So after looking at floorplans Of the available campers at greenberg I booked a travel trailer for the fort in Oct

it gave me warm fuzzies to hear your experience was good.

Hoping this helps us clarify more of what we really want in a camper. Greenberg was helpful and patient with all my questions.

We are also renting a golf cart from them so am anxious to see how that goes.

I would not recommend Greenberg. Their customer service failed miserably during our vacation and made for a poor disney experience. I would rent a camper again but would do so from a company that has been in business longer and is more experienced.

We had a great experience last February with Moore Camping Rentals. http://www.mcrfl.com/

Read about it here: http://land.allears.net/blogs/guestblog/2014/03/no_rv_no_problem_fort_wilderne.html

I highly recommend them. We've booked another rental with them for February 2015.

1) We rented a camper once.
. . . she made the bedding
. . . she cooked the meals
. . . she helped set-up and take-down
. . . we would again recommend Sally
2) By the way, we also have rented rv-units.

Could you elaborate on your terrible experience with Greenberg please. I have them booked for our trip in July 2015 and would like to gather all of the information I can get. :surfweb: Thanks so much!

My daughter rented a trailer from Matt of Greenberg RV in 2012 and 2013. She had a great experience with him both times.
I was with her so I know that he was easy to get in touch with, provided great customer service and she wouldn't hesitate to book with him again in the future.
