Has anyone named their pet after a Disney Character?

We named Brutus after the dog in the old Disney movie "The Ugly Daschund".

I wanted to call our new dog Mickey or Minnie, but we've had too many fishes and pocket pets named Mickey or Minnie.

We are fostering two dogs. One is Belle, she will be adopted soon and the other is Brigid, we are going to keep her. Brigid is a Celtic Goddess! Blessings, Sandra

I have a Lilac Point Siamese named Simba. We had called the shelter and they made a note if any Siamese came in, we wanted one. They called us and we went down to see him. He was playing in the cage, and kept trying to hide and pounce at my fingers so I said, "Aww! He looks like Simba!" and it stuck.

We got a Seal Point Siamese a couple years ago and named him Koda. Love the name and it just seems to fit him! He's definitely the "annoying little brother" that Koda was in Brother Bear. Simba wants nothing to do with him, but that doesn't stop him from trying to play

We've got Tigger and Simba now. When we first got Tigger, he was only a few days old, so I couldn't tell the sex, so he was "Boo", from Monsters, Inc. Previously we had Lady and Tramp, 2 cats we got together. Then we hadLucky, spotted like the puppy in 101 Dalmations, but our Lucky was a cat.

We named our cat oliver after ofcourse the kitty in oliver and company. My younger brother used to love that movie.

We have a cat named Jasmine and a cat named Shanti (from Jungle Book 2). We also have a dog named Chewy, short for Chewbaka (spelling?). We do have a 3rd cat named Ray, who DD named when she was just 2. We apologize to her often for not naming her Aurora. I used to have an adorable pomeranian named Mickey, but she died before her 1st birthday.

My mom had an Arabian horse named Ariel, but to my knowledge that was just a happy coincidence. (She originally belonged to--and was named by--my non-Disney-buff aunt.)

Growing up I had pet mice named Mickey and Minnie. I also had an orange tiger cat named Thomasina (anyone remember that movie?)

Right now we have two Disney cats, Figaro (Ro for short) and Cricket (short for J. Cricket). Our dogs aren't named for Disney characters.
