Has anyone named their pet after a Disney Character?

Oh, and I forgot--one of my fish (African cichlid) who was orange was named Nemo. Unfortunately, during my last (short) WDW trip, I had some sort of freak "incident" in the aquarium that involved the water turning white and all of my cichlids were wiped out.

No Disney named critters but my cat is named Doyle after the Angel character and his sister is Cordelia(Cordy)

Our black Lab is Mickey. The previous owners(friends from church) named him that, I'm assuming after Mickey Mouse but not positive.

No, but I did want to name our new doggie Pluto. My husband wasn't excited about it though so he's Max.

yellow lab = Minnie
tabby cat = Tigger
siamese kitten = Lumpy (heffalump)

None of our currently living pets are Disney-named, but we used to have 2 fish named Mickey and Minnie - they were "Mickey Mouse" platys, orange little fish with Mickey head shaped spots on their tails. We also had a blue male betta fish named Stitch, but all have gone on to the big lake in the sky.

As I love Disney people presume that I named my cat Figaro after the cat in Pinochio however I named him as someone suggested it and I like the Mozart opera the marridge of Figaro!!

my aunt had a cat named Ariel. she was so tiny and adorable. i miss that cat!

the only thing i named after anything was my hampster, Mulder. i'm an X-Files freak(*listens to all of the *ohhhh now i get it*'s from everyone*) and the hampster used to LOVE sunflower seeds.....as did the main character from the show. so it seemed to fit.

sometimes i get real crafty with names, like my fish......named fish.

i never really name fish, because everytime i do, they end up dead for some reason. it's like the kiss of death or something. i remember having these carnival fish for years(yes, YEARS!) and when i finally said "i better name them because they've lived for so long" the next day, they were dead.

how cute! i loved Doyle! Cordy........not so much. but we won't get into that here lol.

Our older dog is Lady, but she wasn't named as a Disney thing. My husband got her when she was 6 months old, and that was the name on her collar. When we got our puppy this spring, my husband actually agreed to find a Disney name, but finding one took forever. I kept suggesting Tramp, so we would have Lady and the Tramp. The only name I could sell him on was Jack (like Jack Sparrow)

The funniest part of the whole thing - my 7 month old Newfie, who is 100 pounds, will only answer to JackJack, not just Jack. To see my husband hanging out the door calling for JAckJack is a riot :rotfl2:
