A few months ago I was all worried about if the finger scans would work properly or if I would do it right. To my surprise though, we NEVER had to use them. :confused3 Has this happened to anyone else? The CM would just instruct us to insert our tickets and that was it ,and they'd wave us through, not once, not twice, but every time we went to the park. Also, this wasn't JUST at MK, it was at MGM and Epcot too. Is this normal? I remember last year they had the biometric scanners at MK too, but the same situation happened . So do they actually inforce it where you have to do the finger scan thing? Or are we always the 'one millonth family of customers' and our prize is not having to fool with the finger scanners. lol :rotfl:

Did you have the MYW tickets or were they the "old style" parkhoppers?

I believe we had the old kind.

That's why you didn't have to do the scan. The new MYW tickets require the finger scan. We used old passes and part of our new MYW tickets on our trip this past Feb and that's exactly what happened.
