I have and enjoyed both. The Main Street tour had less information, but we were taken into Walt’s apartment over the fire station. I think we spent more time there than on Main Street. After the guide finished telling us all about the apartment we went out to the “patio” and were given a large cookie and a drink. We stayed there for awhile and the guide answered any questions we had. We also had our picture taken in the apartment by a Disney photographer. No other pictures are allowed inside the apartment.
I think the 100th celebration tour was more informative about Disneyland history. We went to the animation academy and had some private time with an animator before the non tour people joined us for the drawing lesson. We learned how to draw a Disney character which was really cool. I am normally awful at art, but by following instructions even I could draw a recognizable character. We had a family picture taken in front of the castle, were given another large cookie and a large 100th anniversary pin. We also had an exclusive viewing area for the parade.
It was a bit pricey, but I am glad we did both.
