Best way to get from MK to Raglan Road?

If we take a bus (from MK? or do we have to walk to Contemporary?) apparently the DS stop is still a 30 (1.5 miles) minute walk from Raglan Road. I have seen that the boat stop is closer to Raglan, but does a boat go from MK to DS? Maybe that is a different lake? After walking at MK all day, I am trying to avoid having us trek to dinner, but would like to try Raglan Road. Thank you!

If there is no Disney Springs bus from MK, I'd walk over to the Contemporary (or boat to GF or Poly) and take the Disney Springs bus from there. IIRC we can walk from the Disney Springs bus stop to Raglan Road in about 10 minutes.

You can also bus to Saratoga Springs from MK and get off at the Congress Park stop and walk from there.

Except you have to go to the TTC or one of the resorts to get picked up....unless doing the Minnie Van. From the other parks I would 100% agree, but it is equally a hassle to get to where Uber/Lyft can pick up as it is to get to where you can take a bus.

OR walk to Bay Lake (not a long walk at all) OR take take monorail to Contemp/Poly/Grand Flo if walking too much & get bus to Springs.

Or Uber/Lyft from either of the 3 resorts closest to MK. Quickest.

You are correct. I just figured (as I do), walking to BLT/Contemp pleasant and more direct. I try to stay away from TTC as much as possible usually.

Minnie Van from the MK will minimize your walking.

I question the reported distance/walking time from the DS bus drop-off point to Ragland Road. Google Maps shows a 4 minute walk (0.2 mi).




We have certainly done it in less than 10 minutes, and DW is a slow walker. Note that bus drop-off is near the Lost and Found location on the map. The walk to a bus stop to return to one of the resorts from DS will be much longer, depending on the resort. We usually stay at BWV, and that bus stop is at the far end of the outer loop, near the V of Vera Bradley on the map.

The DS walk from the bus stop to Raglan Road is less than 1/3 mile...definitely nowhere near the length and time quote you saw - so no worries there. When you get off the bus, enter DS through the tunnel, go straight ahead towards the Guest Welcome Center, then towards the right past Frontera Cocina, hang a left and cross the bridge - you'll see Raglan on the right. Very easy walk.

Walk or take the monorail to Contemporary - that will be your shortest way out of MK...hop the Disney Springs bus from there. You could also take the monorail to any of the MK resorts and head to their bus. It's probably a close call between walking to the Contemporary bus stop vs walking down from the monorail and out the building to the bus stop, so you don't really save much walking distance taking the monorail. If you took the boat to Wilderness Lodge from MK, then walked to their bus stop, it might actually be slightly less overall walking than Contemporary, but the slow boat ride might take a little longer.
