I don't remember if I ever uploaded this or not, so here it is (possibly again )

Yeah, I missed a spot on the blue ear, but it's glitter and nail polish, not exactly difficult to fix. I painted the section with a coat of polish, then poured loose fine glitter over it in a big pile and kinda smooshed it down with the lid of the glitter container. Then I let the whole pile dry for an hour, dumped the excess off, tapped it on the desk a few times to make sure all the loose stuff was off, brushed anything extra off the non-polished part, and did the same with the second color. I need to figure out something to do to seal it, though, because the weekend I was there it rained every day but the last, and water + glitter = no good.

Ariel loved it, though, because it matched her tail.

Your bands look cute! Did you use clear polish over the rub-ons to help them stay on?
I love the idea of putting the band on a baseball bat while decorating! I'll have to remember that for when we (hopefully) go next year.

No clear polish they stay on really good all by themselves. Was a pain getting one off when it didn't go on right. Had to really scrap at it with the sharp flat end of scissors and it took a few minutes until it was all off and I could put a different one in it's place.

We won't be getting our new bands for about a month so I decided to experiment with our old bands, here is what I came up with.

I didn't want to nail polish or a drawn on design since I don't have a steady enough hand to make it look nice so I went with rhinestones and sequins.

Just so everyone knows, this thread has not been good for my pocketbook! Ha!! I have purchased nail polish (multiple shades,) temp tattoos, gems, nail art pens, duct tape, etc... all in preparation for the arrival of our bands. I'm not totally sure what I want to do yet, so I wanted to have options

Lol, like anything having to do with Disney is GOOD for your pocketbook, but I bet, like everything else that's Disney, it was TOTALLY worth it!!

This is the 1st of 4 of the cover bands that I ordered. It held up very well after a full day in the park. The other three were in my suitcase as something I had inside burst all over from the heat & they were not affected at all so I'd say they are pretty good quality.


Btw, sorry for the upside down photo..I took these while I was on the monorail headed to MK.

I'm so jealous! I wanna be on the monorail! BTW, your pics were great, not upside down and very clear. Did you buy the band covers from Disney? I thought they only had cloth sleeves.

Those of you who have used temporary tattoos, I have a question: how do you get the tattoo to lay over the Mickey head with the creases? Is there a special trick to help it lay evenly?

It hasn't yet, I just set it up today and printed some samples. I will try to post here when it's available. We are planning a big reveal on June 15th for new designs.

What is your turn around time on the decals? I'm wanting to order 4, but I will wait if your coming out with new designs.

We would need them about July 10, we leave the day after.

And also, could you do something other than disneyish like Dr Who. I have a daughter that is not into princess, but loves the Doctor.

Usually a quick turnaround. Covers can be delivered to the Disney resort you are staying at, just include the resort, reservation number and date you arrive and they will be waiting for you. Sorry no Dr Who designs in the works, but Abengers themed ones just came out.
