Has anyone decorated their Magic Bands? Please show us the pictures!

we painted our magic bands and put glow in the dark glitter over the top, this stopped glowing after a couple days and had to be reaplied by the end of out 10 day vaca the glitter was way thick also I had found some mickey gems and had glued them over the mickey heads which had to be removed the first day as this prevented them from working at all...........be careful if you put anything except paint on the mickey head.

I love these. I am super NOT crafty. What are my best options to throw some money somewhere and make our bands awesome?
For a non-crafty person, which I fit into....LOL....I used just nail polish. I got several different sparkly colors and painted one layer on top of one another every day. Sometimes I only did one color over on half with a different color on the other half and so on. I did the Mickey head in a separate color. It's really pretty and takes no talent at all!

We went to WDW in Jan and I decorated mine in a steampunk theme tribute to Belle. I used nail polish and clear top coat and e6000 to glue it all on. I wanted a watch instead of wearing my MB and a watch at the same time. I love how it turned out and I got a lot of complements :) And it held up pretty great all week.

Unbelievably Cool! So....the crystal on Mickey's head doesn't interfere with scanning?

If the Gems are metal/foil backed that can be a problem.

Okay....so here is my glitter only band.....for the non-crafty people? I think it looks pretty good for nail polish only? And...the kids can do it themselves....you can't mess them up!

Very nice! I definitely fall into the Not-Crafty-But-Wish-I-Was category. I think I could actually do that without messing it up too badly, haha.

I ordered a set of Halloween decals for my orange band from TheHappyStickerShop on Etsy, but I don't get my MB until October so I'm not sure how they'll turn out. I do plan on (trying) to paint the edges of the band in black glitter...either glitter paint or nailpolish...thoughts on which would work better?

I was hoping to do some 4th of July bands for our trip next week, but I have run out of time. Here is my DD's latest band. She requested a Haunted Mansion theme. At least we all have one new band to wear for the trip. :-)

OMGosh! This is sooooo cool! Love it!

I haven't done mine, yet. I'm currently debating how to personalize my castle Magicband. Possibly tiny stones at the center of the fireworks. Does anyone have any ideas??

Awesome! Thank you :)

Tarahart24, I love your magic band decals! I really want the Incredibles one, where do you get them? I've done an Etsy search, Google search and can't find any Magic Band accessories that include the details on the Mickey icon like yours

Thanks!! I made them! :) I have a silhouette cutter and bought inkjet printable vinyl and designed them. I just found images online I liked and edited them or layered them and (12 hrs later bc I am the least creatively talented person I know :) ) this was the result! They aren't professional but they looked really cute and lasted well thru the week. I've made some for friends so if you'd like me to do that for you or explain in detail how I did them so you can do it yourself feel free to PM me!

I've been on a Princess and the Frog kick recently, so this is what happened! Faces and I don't get along, so they don't get any :) They definitely would have been unrecognizable had I tried

What I used:
2 coats of OPI Natural Nail Base Coat
Acrylic paint
2 more coats of base coat

I painted and let dry while it was bent and snapped into place just in case there was any cracking, but so far things look fine! It's still just as flexible as without any decoration

This thread is making me wish I didn't live in Canada where I have to wait until I arrive to get my band.

So what kind of paint pens are people buying? DecoColor? Or are people just using acrylic paint and brushing it on? I am starting to feel bold enough to paint one perhaps. :)
