has anyone caught the Alice Cooper "Staples" commercial?

That is the BEST commercial!!!!!!!! I've always loved
that song.....Alice Cooper is on tour right now. I think he's
performing at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut this summer.

No, the little girl is not related to him. The reason I know is that my DD auditioned for the same commercial. The girl in the commercial, my DD and one other girl were finalists for the spot. After several auditions and callbacks, they decided the girl you see in the commercial looked the most like him.

The Staples classic I miss though is their one set to Holiday music with the Dad gleefully gathering school supplies and cart surfing while the kids look glum.

I loved that one too......."It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" was the song. But this Alice Cooper one is great too, they must have some great ad people working for them!

I only saw it once, like a couple of days ago, and I thought it was really funny. One of my mom's favorite commercials is still "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year." She always looked forward to it at the end of summer.

I love that commercial!!! I played that song the night before kids went back to school, and they did not think it was funny.
