Has anyone been to Fort Charlotte, Nassau?

Just curious what the Fort is like and How do you get there?
By boys will be 5 and 9, so it sounds interesting.

We went on the 2-hour Historic City Tour booked through DCL, and we made a stop at Fort Charlotte before returning to the ship. We were given a tour of the fort that was pretty interesting.

If you don't want to book a tour, you could probably take a taxi to the Fort.

There's a great view from the fort. You can look down and see all the ships in port.

Are we talking about the same fort? I know you can see the ships in port from Fort Fincastle (near the Queen's Staircase), but don't recall seeing any from Fort Charlotte.

We did the city tour and really liked the Fort, but my kids are into that kind of stuff and find it interesting. The tour guide of the Fort tells you all about it and stories etc....if you like history and Forts its the bomb.
