Has anyone been to Epcot with littles recently?

Hi everyone,

We have two kids ages 4 and 6 and we have two day park tickets for our trip in November. We’re def doing Magic Kingdom one day and I was planning on doing Epcot the second day. We’re staying at boardwalk so Epcot would be easy to get to via international gateway and we could rope drop Frozen. My kids love the 3 caballeros (Mexico) and Nemo. I’m just second guessing Epcot though because my kids love characters and I just don’t know if they’ll be bored after those few rides. Wondering if we should try to brave DHS instead. I don’t think they’d love Rise or Galaxys edge but they do like Star Wars, toy story and frozen and Mickey so maybe that would be better? Open to any ideas!

For background on my fam, we are a DVC fam and go every year so we know this trip will not be like others. Still looking forward to any bit of magic!

Our kids our that exact age. Epcot is usually a half day for us where we head back to the resort pool a little after lunch. We always do Frozen, Cabelleros, Journey, Nemo, Living with the land and Soarin. After that we usually eat and poke around some of the countries(not to the extent that the adults would really want). Then we head back to swim. Of course that’s when we are usually there for 7 days of park hopping. Personally if I had two days right now I’d do MK and AK. Our kids love AK, but it’s a bit diminished with The Dig closed. They play there for hours and we have to drag them out.

We LOVE animal kingdom but my daughter who is 4 loves anything lion king and I know she’ll be so sad seeing festival of lion king not running. If festival of lion king starts back up in time for our trip I’ll totally be going to AK!
