Has anyone been dreamed lately?

It seems like all the talk about YOAMD has calmed down. So are they not dreaming as often anymore?

Since they just renewed the promotion for another year (through 2008), I'm assuming they are still giving away plenty of dreams (probably even more than a million). :rolleyes1

:charac2: :charac2: :charac2: :charac2: :charac2: :charac2: :charac2: :charac2: Was in the park for 4 days recently and didn't see a single dream team member. Saw a family of 3 with the YOAMD ears on (and didn't that look fetching) but that was it. Obviously they were hiding from us.

We were there for a week in July and received several ourselves. Nothing huge but got 3 sets of the tink pins as well as some front of the line passes and preferred seating for fantasmic.

I'm not sure but I believe our kids (DS13, DD8, DS6) experienced at least a small part of it during the first week in August. A CM in DCA came up to us and chatted a bit before asking who their favorite characters are. After they told her, she said for us to come back by guest relations just inside DCA later that day or the next morning. We did and she handed them personalized autographed pictures from each character for each of our kids. Whether or not it had something to do with YOAMD I don't know, but it was a great random act of kindness which is the essence of Disney anyway. That type of gesture creates a lifelong memory for a child.

i gave two away just last week :) :) :)

What did you give away Albort?? I think that would be an awesome job to dream someone.

I am going Saturday. DS2 let me give him a shot in his booty and I told him that I would ride Tower if he did. I didn't think he would let me do it.

nothing big... just two pins...

We got dream FPs our first full day 2 weeks ago, perhaps in part because I was kinda keeping my eyes open for the Dream Team in out of the way places. We got ours between 8:30 and 9AM near the Hungry Bear restrooms. Most of the people I talked to with Dream FPs got them within around an hour of park opening. After we were dreamed, we felt we got our quota so I didn't look for or see another dream team.

What do the "Dream Team" members look like? What should we be watching out for? Do they dress differently than other cast members?

We were walking back to the train In Tomorrowland and received YOAMD ears for all six of us. It was fun because we were the first to walk past them at the correct time. Everyone that came up to the train station after us also had their ears on.

When we were there for DD's birthday, we got a one-on-one meeting with two princesses, and we also got the YOMD ears.

When we were there two weeks ago we were given pin trading lanyards on 3 different days and dream fastpasses on the days we did not get the lanyards. We gave away all but one set of each. They were at the Matterhorn exit, Pooh exit, Hungry Bear by the restrooms, DTD exit from the Monorail, the back path by the old mine. We saw a number of other people with these lanyards also.
A couple staying at the same hotel was exiting Pooh and the were given the Mickey penthouse with all the goodies..right place right time. All of these took place prior to 10AM.

My sister and I went to DL Aug 11 - 15 and we didn't get a dream :< I think we were in the wrong place at the wrong time. We saw a lot of people with YOMD fast pass lanyards. We thought maybe they look for families with children....

When we were there Aug 13-16. Saw a lot of dream fast passes but that was it.

What kind of family do they look for when they give dreams away?

I'm quite certain it's all random. They don't select a family it's all about being in the right place at the right time. It seems to be typically when you're getting off a ride, they're in the exit.

We got dream ears in the stretching room in the Tower of Terror. Then we got more ears coming out of the hotel.
