Happy Mothers Day!



To all the mummies out there, hope you have the chance to relax and enjoy your pressies!

My DS got me a willow tree figurerine called "Tenderness", and some gorgeous flowers and from DH I got a large box of Thorntons Continental chocs and season 3 of "Home Improvement" that I asked for. Think Tim Allen is great!

DH is cooking me dinner as well this afternoon.

Happy Mothers Day everyone.

I have been really lucky too, got a lie-in this morning and breakfast in bed Had some gorgeous tulips (my absolute favourite flowers), a 'Best Mum' tea towel and a teddy from the kids and DH is doing all the cooking today - may not seem like a big thing but we've been together 10 years and this is probably only the 3rd or 4th time he's ever cooked for me - 3 times in 10 years isn't bad is it

Not so great for me

We got back from DLP on Friday, spent a couple of nights at my FIL's as we were down South, Sunday we had to go and put flowers on my MIL's rememberance stone and then we spent 12 hours driving back to Dundee from Surrey!!, it usually only takes us 9 but there was a big accident on the
M40 or the M6 (can't remember which one we were on) and it kept us in a non moving line for over an hour and on the way up the weather didn't know what it wanted to do, we had beautiful sunshine and heat, hail, rain, snow and snow blizzards.

We got back at 11pm last night and the poor kids had to go to school this morning!

Suffice to say I haven't been given my cards yet and DH's a scrooge anyway so no pressies for me
