Hello Everyone,

I am a travel agent and I have a BIG group of 50 people booked with limos through a company called Happy Limo. Has anyone ever heard of them?
Jon

They are a pretty good outfit. Been around Orlando quite a while.

We've used them multiple times to/from Sanford and absolutely love their cleanliness, time efficiency, and friendliness. Just used them June 22 and July 2 and couldn't be more pleased. I particularly like the fact that you can talk to a person when you call. :cool1:

You might want to verify if your customers will have an automatic gratuity added. Let your customers know if the gratuity will be included or if they should be tipping.

I've never used Happy Limo myself, but I know lots and lots of people who have. They are one of the better, more established limo/towncar companies in Orlando.

I've chatted online with the owner, Happy Ron, many times. Like any transpoprt company in Orlando, he's occasionally had a complaint or two, but I've always been impressed by the way he personally handles each complaint and makes sure that the customers are satisfied.

We've used them a lot ourselves in the past, and recently I have referred clients to them...all good experiences. :sunny:

We have used them and we have always had wonderful service. They are clean, comfortable and dependable transportation. They have always been waiting on us at the bottom of the escalators when we get off the plane and we have never had to put a finger on our luggage. One trip the even upgraded us from a towncar to a super-stretch Limo. The kids were thrilled. Enjoy your trip.

I've used them several times and have also recommended them to friends. The drivers have always been friendly and helpful and the cars have been clean and nice. Like some other posters, we've been upgraded a few times, though I think that mainly happens when they have more towncar reservations than towncars. I admit that I enjoy a surprise ride in a limo (and BOY does DD like it, lol) rather than being told that the towncars are booked and I'm out of luck. :) Now, I've never booked rides for 50, but I'd put a dollar down on a bet that it'd go as smoothly as a group that size can go. :)

I just booked a one-way ride with them 10 mins ago. I chose them because AllEars recommends them. (I had to rule out this board's sponsor, FL Tours, because they don't offer a grocery stop for a one-way.)

Anyway, I have to admit, after the call to Happy, I rushed to this board to see what people think of them. I did not get the best feelings from the girl on the phone. She was the only one taking reservations and other phones were constantly ringing in the background. I got the impression she was very rushed and distracted. In spite of this, I made the reservation and remain optimistic...because of comments like those above.

All I want now is to receive the email confirmation. Then my mind will be at rest. Well at least until we land at MCO and start hunting for the driver. :worried:

Yea I felt the same way...I got an email confirmation in about 48 hours so I felt better about that.

We have used them twice and were very pleased.
The driver even gave us a discount card to use at our grocery stop so we were able to get the sales prices.
Our last return trip we upgraded to a Limo as a surprize for My DD and my 2 Grand Daughters.
Before using Happy Limo we used another service and they were terrible. We were required to pay the full fee for the round trip and then they never showed when it was time to pick us up to take back to the airport.
The CSR at our hotel called them and got a van to get us to the airport just in time.

All's well for now. I got my email confirmation about 4 hours after making the reservation. :)

Unfortunately, this experience is not unique. I have heard more than one report from people calling to reserve towncars at Happy and at several other similar services that the person on the other end was less than totally pleasant.

You should get excellent service and a good attitude from your driver, and a nice clean car. Happy is a good company that's been around in Orlando for many years and has tens of thousands of satisfied customers.

Let me ask you if you have had this experience personally. Evidently you haven't, and you haven't quoted any other threads, so you are trying to continue some sort of a rumor for some unknown reason. No one appreciates that type of comment made above. In Florida we love our guests no matter what position we are in. No one tries to be rude or unpleasant to them.

Oh, sorry, I guess I better quote some of my sources:

K?

That would be nice if you did that.

I beg your pardon, is this post directed at me?

Just igonre Edd. He is not exactly an uninterested party. He drives a town car for someone.

Anyway, I have pretty much given up on ALL the Towncar compainies. I don't get it, they are suppose to be "fighting" for thier life due to ME yet they can't hire POLITE folks to deal with the phones, they won't apologize for being late etc... (And Edd, just do a search, there are LOTS of complaints on boards like these!!!! I am not going to bother to "post sources" for you. Do youi own work!)

Carol, from reading so many of your previous posts, I really value your opinion. I will be staying off-site (approx. 21 miles from MCO) later this year and therefore, can't use DME. Won't be renting a car due to vision issues, therefore, would really appreciate your input on ANY reputable towncar service since this is our only option (1 senior, 1 adult, 2 children).

Are there any that you would reccommend?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Since FL tours is the sponsor of DIS, I was thinking of booking them. Their price is $65 plus tip for a one-way trip.
