Happy limo UPDATE

I used Happy Limo for my trip from the airport to WDW, I did not get what I was promised. Instead of the"luxurius limo" I received a old, dusty limo that did not have the many amenities mentioned on the internet ad. tHE CHILDREN WOULDN'T PUT THEIr SODA IN THE CUP HOLDERS BECAUSE THEy WERE CONVINCED THAT THEY WERE ASHTRAYS.I contacted the company and was told they value customer satisfaction and on my next visit they would give me a comp upgrade to a new limo. I told them that I have only traveled to Florida twice in 43 years and found that unacceptable, still waiting for a response. I also mentioned that I inquired about the age and condition of the vehicle when I booked and that I had been informed that the limos were 2 years old or newer. The reason I got an older vechicle was due to overbooking! This is one unhappy customer with HAPPY LIMO!!!! Check out their web site and you'll see nothing but new limo's that are"premimum transportation".HAPPY LIMO HAS AGREED TO REIMBURSE ME THE UPGRADE COST TO A LIMO AND GIVE ME AN UPGRADE TO A LIMO ON MY NEXT TRIP TO ORLANDO.THEY ALSO ASSURED ME THAT I WOULD RECEIVE A NEW LIMO AT THAT TIME.I AM HAPPY WITH THE SOLUTION THEY HAVE PRESENTED ME. I ALSO WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW THAT I SENT THEM A COPY OF MY THREAD BEFORE I POSTED IT ON THE BOARD .I BELIEVE THAT THEY TRULY WANTED THIS MATTER HANDLED IN A WAY THE WOULD PROVIDE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.
 
Yikes! How disappointing! Let me know how this turns out. I am planning (or was :() on booking Happy Limo for my parent;s 40th anniversary trip when our family is going down. May want to reconsider this!
 
I'll keep you posted. I can't tell you how disappointed I am about the limo. I really expected to get what I saw in the ad. I booked the limo over two months ahead of time, it didn't even enter my mind that they overbook. My friend booked a limo with Happy Limo( at my suggestion) and all she can do is rave about it . It burns me up that we paid the exact same price, that I booked amonth and a half before her and I got such an inferior limo.
 

I wish I had known about yourride before my trip!!! I had recommended Happy Limo to another friend (before I used them), Iwill now call her and give her your name.
 
having used them for many trips and having my friends and familyuse them, they have never had anything but the new vehicles and a few of them had even been upgraded for free to the stretch limos. I would not hesitate to use them for all of my trips and I highly recommend them.
Not every limo company is perfect and I am sure that every once in a while some do experience problems of some sort. If you remember to contact them immediately they will try to do whatever necessary to correct the situation. Remember too that you get more with honey than you do with sour pickle juice. Demanding things don't always get you somewhere. Just think of how you would rather be spoken to(regardless of the situation) and then speak to them that way. If you are that angry at the time try to count to 10 before you blow your stack and yell at them. (I know sounds easy when its not me in that situation, but this is good advice and every time I have followed it I have gotten what I wanted in the first place. )
I can't say that would go and use someone just because they are a sponser of something, remember TTC was a sponser before and look at all the complaints on them!
 
A kid at heart- First I'd like to address your comment about " demanding things". I feel as a consumer you have the right to get what you pay for and have been promised. As far a telling the limo company about the my displeasure I did so on my return home and they did agree that I got an older model limo that was usually not used. I am not sure what good it would of done to have addressed the issue at the airport when all my family wanted to do was to get to the hotel .I also didn't want my children to have their first limo ride spoiled in any way. It is always easier to judge how one reacts when they are not present in the siruation. I am glad that you have always had good luck. I also do not recall blowing my stack- you should not assume.

Did you bother to call Happy limo while you were down there, so that it didn't happen on your return as well. (was the older limo only for your drive into the resort that it happened or was it for both ways?)

When I made my statement about demanding I was referring to the way you talk to them. I agree that you should get what you pay for. Its all in the way you present what you want as to how it will be taken.
 
A kid at heart- You did not hit a raw nerve at all. The trip home was a lovely town car. I am aware that your comments had to be generic due to the fact you were not privy to the corrrespondence I had with Happy Limo, at least not to my knowledge.
 
So then the return was a good trip! it was just the "inbound" trip.
I'll have to make sure that I tell them to dust off my vehicle before they pick me up in sep!LOL!
