Well the alarm went off at 5am and I did not want to get out of bed!! But I got moving eventually and Dad dropped me off at the station.
Nearly missed my train to London as I was standing in the warm waiting room and all of a sudden a train arrives and I realise its mine!! Luckily I only had a small case this time to fight through the doors with! It was also cold and wet!
Met my friend at St Pancras around 7.30 and checked in fine, there was a queue but that seemed to be because everything was done manually.
We left on time at 8.35am and were soon at the tunnel entrance where we had to wait. It took 40 mins to get through the tunnel and I swear you could see the bricks of the tunnel!!
We had a laugh as the train slowed at Charles de gaulle station and everyone else thought it was arriving at Disney so they all stood up, coats on and were struggling in the luggage compartments. They soon sat back down again as we had at least 10 mins left!
At last the train arrived at Disney and my mate and I boarded a shuttle bus to the Dream Castle hotel where we checked in, left our luggage as our room wasn't ready and headed back to the park to purchase Annual Passes. Thankfully the skies were blue and the sun was shining!
We got into the park fine having been to guest relations but when we got to the Annual Passport Office it was bedlam and we were told the aprox wait time was 45 mins.
Eventually we clutched our dream passes in our grubby mitts and set off to see what rides we could do, but the park was very very busy especially as it was the first official day of Halloween.
We decided to do things we hadn't done before such as the rope bridge, Alices Maze then did some rides in Fantasyland before going over to the Studios where we did cars. We decided that this was going to be a chill weekend and if anything was over 30mins queue time we were not going to be in it!
We left at 7pm and had dinner in Annettes, it was okay and then went back into the park where BTM was now down to 30 mins queue so naturally we had to take advantage of this and after we had ridden it in the dark we ran around to do it again and kept doing that until about 10.15pm when we decided we had better go and collect our room key!
We couldn't believe the size of our room at The Dream Castle, my mate and I needed a phone to speak to each other!!
But we soon fell into bed, exhausted but looking forward to day two!
