Sorry guys but I just read on another disney site that the Song only was coming back with a new show. The crowd started yelling before he got that part out. Everyone thought it was the entire HEA but apparently it's just the song with a new show.

I was thinking the same thing. However, according to Jordan Fisher, HEA (show) is coming back. And it’s assumed the updates are more projections

Happily Ever After is a masterpiece ... the arrangement and transitions of the songs and scenes are flawless, projections amazings, and that "extra something," the magic, I don't know what, just tugs at your heartstrings better than many other shows. From the opening narration voice to the close...truly amazing.

I believe they will keep most of HEA intact but they will probably add the main street projections since that wasn’t done during HEA. That show is too perfect to mess up after they decided to bring it back (hopefully). I am the rare person that was not a big fan of Wishes but loved HEA. I did not like enchantment or whatever the current show is called. We chose to watch the fireworks on big thunder mountain last trip as we liked them but not the show. Next trip we planned on July 3 fireworks at MK and to skip Enchantment. But reconfigured our days in the hope of seeing HEA one night too. Hoping it returns when they end the 50th year.

I got a little too excited when I saw this news. Enchantment had grown on me but it was never going to be HEA. I had never been a fireworks person (always rides/attractions, then parades, then fireworks) but since it’s introduction HEA had become my favorite thing to do at WDW and the one can’t miss aspect of a WDW vacation.

Circumstances led to being unable to make a trip to see the show after the announcement it was being replaced. That was a huge bummer. Incredibly excited to see what they do with it upon it’s return. The song and theme are so amazing I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt that any changes will not lessen it’s impact.

This is 100% my assumption call it happily ever after remixed if you will with Main Street projection, and IP that was introduced post the shows original inception

Music from coco, as well as we don’t talk about Bruno, and possibly maybe even some 4Town is inevitable

Sadly, its not the old show coming back. just guessing, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it be a combination of HEA and Enchantment.
Would really love to see HEA with some updates.

I hope they don’t change Happily Ever After too muchc because the arrangement and editing of the original is really magic. i get that change is inevitable, but it really was perfect the way it was.

I remember when Happily Ever After came out and suffered from a lot of mixed reviews. Many on here wanted Wishes to continue. Now it's getting a post with dozens of exclamation marks!

Anyway, I'm glad it's an updated show and not a recycled version. It would be great if they had a new show every year or two to keep these things from going stale.

Disney is always coming out with new movies and shows, so keep it all fresh with updated elements. Go for some creative things to surprise the audience.

You would still include some classic elements in the show, of course.

Simply great news!

Hopefully they learned from Enchantment that the show needs to have emotion (and maybe some nostalgia) and not just be a technical tour de force.

Super excited. We actually really enjoy Harmonious at this point. But getting HEA makes up for it, as I expect Epcot to become something really good as well.
