Happily Ever After... A WACKY Vacation for a Fairy Tale Wedding...WEDDING ADDED 2/2

The day started out with Daniel taking his normal very long shower, while the rest of us had a light breakfast in the lounge. While the CL at the GF is getting outrageously expensive , I love having the convenience of a light breakfast that you don't have to wait in line for.

We rode over to MK on a short ride on the Monorail. There was a MVMCP that night, so they were closing at 7. I have a picture of BG beside of a sign very similar to this one when he was 4 (1976), so I thought this pic was quite appropriate.

I have always wanted to take a ride on the horse drawn buggy, but I never seem to be in the right place at the right time....

I had heard that Disney was painting the Castle to look more like the castle in Tokyo - I held of my opinion until I saw it in person. I kind of like it, though it wasn't the same castle I was used to seeing. I think it looks more realistic with this new paint job.

We were also able to catch a glimpse of the new Castle Forecourt Stage show - the name escapes me at the moment. We watched it until it was almost completed - It was cute.

We decided to move in the opposite direction from the masses, so we went to Adventureland first. Daniel and DMIL hadn't seen the "new" POTC yet. So, we rode that first. Then, it was on to BTMRR - DMIL doesn't ride this at all. So, it was just Daniel, BG and me. I don't recommend riding this ride alone...:goodvibes I slid all over the place, back and forth!! Those "leather" seats gave my butt NO traction!!! :rotfl:

From there, it was the Country Bear Jamboree. I don't know about you guys, but I didn't like that WDW didn't set up the Christmas show for the CBJ! We look forward to a little variety during our visits, which we didn't get from the Country Bears this trip. They did, however, have a new clock to count down to the next show.

Same old show - not even an ounce of Christmas spirit from these Bears!! :rolleyes1

The bears were closed when we were there in August. Maybe they were cleaner bears. :rotfl:

Love that your ticker is counting up instead of down. What a way to keep track of your Wedding trip. Just don't quiz your new hubby on how many days it has been, he probably won't know. Good luck when you married years and they are off by one or two.

From the CBJ, we rode the Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan's Flight, and It's a Small World. All week, BG had been taking antibiotics for a sinus thing that he had developed before we left VA. Unfortunately, they didn't seem to be working. So, he was wearing down quite a bit that day. :crazy2:

But, he wanted a hot dog from Casey's Corner. We were working our way over to get a light luch, when DMIL noticed a bunny in the bushes.

So, we made a quick stop there for hot dogs, fries, and a drink. As usual, it was good....popcorn:: We did have an audience for our lunch. He was very adament about wanting the majority of the food on my plate. I was less than willing to oblige, which is why I think he looks so grumpy....

BG was also being beckoned from below, by a Mallard duck. He also wasn't happy, he kept biting BG on his shorts. I was afraid to take his picture, he didn't seem too happy with us....

That was the end of our day in the park. BG wasn't feeling well at all, and since the wedding was fastly approaching, I didn't want to push him to stay. He needed rest to feel better. Besides, I told him if he sounded stuffed up and ruined our wedding video, it wouldn't matter how he felt because I would kill him :rolleyes1 . So, we headed back to the monorail for a nap at the GF.

Loving it so far. Can't wait to hear and see the rest!!!

congrats on your marriage.

UGH! What an awful time to have a sinus infection :sad2: Good day at the MK though. "Back to the GF for a nap..." I like the way you think :)

Thank you! It is one of my favorites....:cutie:

By the way - we have great news about the DECA comp. today - I will let you know when we have all of the specifics....:thumbsup2

I was told you are going to The World late April?? Is that right?

I am loving your trip report too! I would have loved a disney wedding, so now I get the next best thing, to read about yours instead!

Happy one month anniversary!

Congrats on your wedding! I love your TR and all your wonderful pictures! I think I met the same little MK bunny when we went on our trip in July 2005! :rotfl:

Thank you very much! You know, Disney does vow renewals, too....;)

I know...if only I could convince Dh to do it! He is not as much of a Disney freak as I am, but I love him anyways :rotfl: Our 6 yr anniversary is in May and I have been trying to convice him since our 5 Year anniversary last year!

I think you are right - it looks like the same bunny. :) We see him on all of the trips we have taken this year - he is a new WDW mascot! :thumbsup2

After a light nap, Daniel walked over to the WP with me to take some of our wedding items over to the planner. It was beautiful outside, but BG stayed in the room to rest some more...;)

For dinner, we decided to have light food from the RPC lounge. It wasn't much, but it was good. :thumbsup2

BG also made the mistake of taking Nyquil to help him sleep that night - so when we got back to the room at 7pm, he was already passed out. This would come into play the next day.....

Tomorrow - Epcot, (Sort of! ;) ) and MVMCP!!! :santa:

Can't wait to hear all about your FTW. I love reading about others weddings as it gives an excuse to reminise about mine, LOL!

Congrats on your wedding and your trip report is a lot of fun! Thanks.
