Will the code allow you to try on more than one computer at a time? (as long as you do not purchase more than 4 from the presale)

You can use the code on multiple computers...I had 3 going. Just be careful with more than one running that you don't miss your time limit on the tickets. Good luck to you!

Ok, i just joined miley world... picked up the cd today - with the free trial..
Question is: how do i get the presale code? Do i click on the button where it says - "buy presale tickets" or something on the concert schedule page? Or do they email you a code? I just didn't want to press that button til i knew what to do... LOL Can you tell i am nevous about all this? LOL

Yes. click on the buy presale and your code pops up.... COPY AND PASTE the code into a text file on your desktop.

You do not want to try to get into mileys site the morning of the presale.

Im not sure since I did mine back in august and there was a spot to put it in. I cannot log in anymore since I only kept it until my code came out back in august. sorry!

we just did like everyone else did. dh took his laptop and I went on our computer. everything was set up in ticketmaster and looking for tickets- it seemed like it took forever to come up with something. I took what I could get and dh put them back the 1st time and luckily came back with another 2. Our 4 tickets came on friday. I bought two for my friend that was at HS Musical on Ice the other night and she mentioned to her daughter that that is where they were going to see HM and all these mothers around her were like- How did you get tickets?? she sait it was like I won the lottery or something.. she said I didnt my friend did all the work.. 3 people I work with did the same thing and were lucky to get presale tickets. One of the girls didnt do presale and tried general and wasnt able to get them. best of luck to those that are trying.

I have already said that this is not Miley's fault. However, I do not think there is anything wrong with writing the performer. Something does need to be done and I think that the performers can help to discourage this practice. Do you really think they want their fans to be dissappointed or to be paying such extreme prices? Maybe some of them don't care but some of them might and they might even voice their displeasure. Will it change things? Maybe not, but maybe the there will be less tickets released to the brokers and more to the public.

And, as stated, the performers don't benefit from the inflated prices. Looking at some of those prices, you have to wonder who is making more money here? I wonder how the performers feel about that. Sometimes, just because that is the way things are, doesn't mean they can't or shouldn't change.

I think a lot of performers do really care, but realize that u can't fight the Ticketmaster monopoly and survive. Miley and her family seem like good people so I am sure that it hurts them to see so many kids and their families being taken advantage of. However, all entertainers today see what trying to demand change within Ticketmaster did to Pearl Jam in the 1990s. Pearl Jam refused to play venues who had agreements only to sell tickets through Ticketmaster because they thought their monopoly allowed them to take advantage of fans with their methods and crazy service charges. Pearl Jam was *the* biggest band in the land at that time and it nearly destroyed them. There were almost no venues that weren't already in Ticketmaster's back pocket and Ticketmaster had an army of high priced lawyers that were unstoppable. Pearl Jam finally threw in the towel in 1998 when they realized it was hopeless to try to force Ticketmaster to change and take an interest in the fans.

The Ticketmaster stranglehold has only gotten tighter since then. Really a pity... Back when there were still multiple ticket services they had to try to work for the customer to earn their business. Perhaps if that was still the case, we would see them take a more active role in policing the deplorable broker practices. However, as it stands with Ticketmaster being the *only* place you can buy tickets anymore, there is no incentive for them to do anything. They still get paid. Nothing will change and we can expect more and more "service charges" even though the "service" gets worse and worse. Unfortunately, not Miley or any other performer can do anything to change this fact. sigh....

Dumb presale question- I have the code, but where will I find the presale in Ticketmaster? Right now the concert for my area is listed as going on sale on Sat. Will this change tomorrow or is there some other place I need to go for the presale?

It will change when presale starts. There will be a field on the order page where u specify number of tickets for you to enter your fan club code. Make sure you go ahead and get your code today and saved in a text file. The mileyworld site will be brought to its knees tomorrow b4 presale. We had 2 friends who didn't even get a chance to use their mileyworld code because they waited until day of presale to try to go retrieve it and the web site was getting hammered and was unaccessible. Then make sure you already have it copied to your clipboard so you can just paste it into the field when presale starts. Every second is crucial! Good luck!

From what I have read and understand, you can use your code for shows at different venues without penalty, and the only restriction is a maximum of 4 tickets per venue. If someone on these boards knows for sure, plz say so!

How many tickets have you bought already? If only two you should be able to buy two more. If you bought four you are done.

So you think they won't allow the code to go through or they'll be automatically cancelled?

I plan to give my tickets to my friends who got shut out here in NC, but I want to make sure I can get mine. If I get them will they then cancel the ticket by canceling the barcode number and I wouldn't know until I show up that night or will the ticket screen tell me right away?

What the heck are these ticket brokers doing that they can get all these tickets to make a profit, and regular people can't do what I'm trying to do, it's absolutely crazy.

It's four total tickets per code. I have two tickets for Moline and tried to get four for Minneapolis only to be told that was too many .. tired again for 2 and they were sold out.
