Thanks I guess I will be signing up for the fan club. I haven't told dd about going. Truthfully I just decided to see about getting tickets since we are postponing our upcoming trip to disney. I hope we are able to go it would be nice if she would come to New Orleans but at least Houston is close to home too.

I've scanned through the entire thread and didn't see this asked, but if I missed it - sorry!! Anyway, what are you guys keying in - "best available" or asking for a certain level. I do not want floor seats, but am I likely to get this if I key in best available?

I don't know how it is will other venues, but for our presale, you were able to choose your level and then hit "best available". I did not want on the floor either, but I wanted the lower level. The first thing that came up were really good seats, so I took them. We're on row 7 of the middle side lower section!

We're going to have three people buying three sets of four at the same time. We're hoping we'll be decently close to each other as the kids are all going to want sit with each other and not necessarily with their families. We're just trying to decide what we need to key in to get a better chance of staying as close together as possible.

I was careful to select a CD with the label indicating that it came with the free month membership to the HM FC, advised my daughter to be careful opening the CD, that we needed the FC code inside - and what did she do today while I was at work? Opened the CD and threw away the wrapper and the 'insert' with the FC code on it! No where else in the CD case does it say anything about the Fan Club and I'm tired of going through yucky garbage bags.

Needless to say, if anyone has a FC code or presale code that they do not need, we could use it here in NY.

Sounds similar to my situation. Bought DD the same CD, she found it an opened it when I wasn't around. Days later, I discovered what she had done.

I know someone answered it is a "few" pages back, but anyone know when Atlantic City or Albany goes on sale and pre-sale?

I am not looking for a code. My daughter is a Mileyworld member ..my Amex was charged $30 last month : ) Apparently my area has not been announced for presale yet....NJ or Pa area. I am just wondering if my presale code will be specific to me only or are these codes going to be floating around for anyone to use. Of course, being i paid the $30 i would hate to find out my chances are slim to none getting tickets.

Ticket limits are 4?

When ticketmaster came online, did it immediately ask for the code, and then you paste it somewhere? TIA! I want to have my game plan on before Tuesday!

I see we'll be fighting for the same tickets. Good luck to all of us! You don't have to go through Mileyworld, you can just log on through ticketmaster. And there is a place to paste the code.

Did you see that Alltel Arena is going to have a 'Parents Room?' I thought that concept was a little different. Here's the official description:

This is a room provided for parents who did not wish to purchase a ticket for this event but who have children coming to the concert. Guidelines for Parent Room: • There will be no admittance into the room until doors are open for the concert (check with the area website at www.alltelarena.com or call 975-9000 for door time) • Parents wanting access to the Parent Room must enter the Washington Street Box Office Tunnel Entrance • Parents will be required to sign in and at that point, parents will be wrist banded • It is extremely important that Parents understand that they MUST stay in the designated room • Parents will not be allowed to go to the seating areas to check on their children nor will children attending the concert be allowed to go back and forth from the arena to the parent room. However, if there is an emergency, Arena staff will make sure parents/children will be able to communicate to each other. Make sure you know your child’s seat location and please designate a place to meet your child after the concert is over. • A TV will be set up for the parents as well as popcorn and assorted drinks. PLEASE REMEMBER: The Parent Room is a courtesy provided for this event. If parents wish to take advantage of this service, they must understand and follow the rules and guidelines listed above. These rules are put in to place in order to provide a safe environment for both parents and children attending this concert.

I did it and got a code in my email box. Then the dates came out and I realized my presale date is after the 30 days is up.

I was wondering if this happened to anyone else?

I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and join for a year to ensure that the code still works after the 30 days trial period is over.

No biggie. Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat.

my presale is 2 days after my trial is up. I am guessing that the membership will automatically charge to my credit card if I don't cancel it. I haven't really been able to even access the site from my computer, so we can't even use any of the stuff online. I am afraid if I cancel that the code won't work. I guess I will see what happens when the time is up.

You can practice before the sale if you're already a fan club member. Go to the Mileyworld website and click the "tickets" tab (you must be logged in first). The presale for the Oct 21 show in Minneapolis is still active (at least it is right now). Click "buy presale" and your code will come up. Copy this code by highlighting it and clicking CTRL + C (write it down too, just in case) and then click the "buy now" button. This will take you to the Ticketmaster site. On the actual day of the sale, you'll want to do this well ahead of the sale time so you'll be prepared.

On the day of the sale, once you click through to the Ticketmaster site, it will tell you tickets are not available yet. Keep refreshing and/or going back and forth in your browser (some people got locked out after refreshing too often and had to start over, so don't go crazy with the clicking). When the sales open, you'll have drop-down menus for the number of tickets (1-4) and the price/seating area. I strongly suggest picking "best available" for all. There is a box to enter your Mileyworld code. Paste/type it there (all caps) and click "look for tickets." If you're lucky, it will show you available seats and ask if you want them. You have 2 minutes, I think, to decide. If they're horrible, you can release them and search again. If you accept them, you have 2 or 3 minutes to enter your billing info (or, better yet, create a Ticketmaster account ahead of time and log into that account before the sale opens).

If you already have your code, you can skip Mileyworld altogether and go straight to the Ticketmaster site.

From what I read, you cannot have two windows open on the same computer trying to get better tickets. If at all possible, it's good to have someone helping you on a separate computer.
