I've also been trying for OKC since 10:00 this morning. I don't know what's going on, but it's very frustrating. I would really like to go, but I don't think it's going to be happening. I refuse to give in & pay the huge prices that some places are raising it up to.


ETA: Those of you looking for the OKC tickets, where are you from? Just curious!

We tried for OKC tickets too, and didn't get them. We logged on and kept refreshing the page until it hit 10:00 and the option page came up. We needed 3 tickets and couldn't get anything! I thought it would at least take a couple of minutes to sell out, not a couple of seconds!!!!! I guess it's just as well; DH was not thrilled about spending that much money on a concert, and he really wanted to go to San Antonio that weekend if the Sooners make it to the Big 12 football championship (and actually, so would I!). DD is disappointed, but not too bad, and we still are holding out a little hope. DH is in the restaurant industry, and he has some contacts with vendors who deal with the Ford Center. Maybe we'll get lucky that way!

Wow! I can't believe there was nothing for San Diego at all. I thought it wasn't as popular as Anaheim or LA so I'd have a chance at some lower seats during the public sale. Now I am really happy at our upper level-but close to the stage seats I got for the presale! Worth the cost of joining mileyworld!

Our tickets went on sale at 10:00 our time (pacific) for both sale dates, so some of you were asking what time they go on sale when it says 10:00-I think it's the local time of that venue.

I also have a question about selling tickets. I got four tickets (also upper level, but close to the stage) for some friends who now don't think they want to go (the DD's do, but the moms think its too much at $70 a ticket) WHATEVER! Don't they understand what I went through to get those tickets for them???? Anyway, now I need to sell these extra tickets, but have never done this before. I noticed that Ticketmaster has a place that you can sell/buy or there is Stub Hub or just E-Bay that I have found. Has anyone sold through any of these? What are the fees and is it a big pain? Should I sell them now or wait until the tickets come in the mail? I just don't want to be out this money because I had to charge them on my credit card- Our three tickets are enough money

Well, now I have a theory. They sell these in person at the Ford Center, right? And at other Ticketmaster locations? Maybe every B&M location has an allotment, and if those don't sell by a certain time, they'll be released. I'm going to keep checking Ticketmaster and see if any come up.

I know that they were doing a lottery this morning. I can remember doing that way back in high school. It was always so stressful, and it seemed that the lines never began with a number anywhere close to my lottery ticket number. I always ended up with seats, though!

I'm thinking, too, that there will be some additional tickets released closer to the concert. Online purchases can get kicked back because if invalid cards, etc., and I know some artists will check tickets bought during their fan club members presale and pull them back if they've been purchased by brokers, etc. The Ford Center could also open up additional seating side-stage.

I've also been trying for OKC since 10:00 this morning. I don't know what's going on, but it's very frustrating. I would really like to go, but I don't think it's going to be happening. I refuse to give in & pay the huge prices that some places are raising it up to.

There's no way DH and I would pay more than face value for this show. It's crazy what some of the tickets are already bidding up to on ebay.

We tried for OKC today too! There were 4 of us PTA moms here since 9:30 this morning. We had a chance to get 4 and then two singles but we needed more than that. We were told that the show sold out in 4 min. We were very bummed out, at least the kids didn't have any clue that we were even trying.

Can someone help me with advice on obtaining tickets? I followed along with this thread a while ago, but the link that I saved has changed and the advance date no longer shows up. We want to see the show in Cleveland, and I think that the presale date is Sept. 25.

Now comes the part where I could use some advice. This morning, I stood in line (I was third) to obtain Van Halen tickets for my DS16's b-day present. They were sold through Ticketmaster, so I went to a local retailer with a Ticketmaster service. I got the 3rd set of tickets at 10:03. The sale began at 10:00! The lady behind the counter just told everyone to have their credit cards ready and say how many we wanted. She would then ask us if best available was good. (Of course, we all said yes!) The first floor of the arena sold out in one minute!! I was just happy to be able to get the tickets at all. It's all that my DS asked for.

So do you think that I should do this again for the HM tour, or should I try joining the fan club? I'm not that great on the computer, and I'm afraid the my slowness will make me lose out on the tickets.

Any advice is very welcome!

I'd try to get tickets via the fan club presale if this is a must-see around your house. I toyed with whether to do this or not and ended up purchasing the fan club add-on through TicketMaster. This way was nice because I got to see my potential seats before I forked out the $29.95 for the membership. I'm so glad I did, because our city sold out within minutes. Can't remember the last time I tried for a concert (and we go to lots) that didn't even have single seats available 5 minutes into the general public sale.

Congrats on the Van Halen tickets. Your DS is going to love you...and I'm a tad jealous!

You should be able to get your code now on the fan club site. Go to tickets and click on get code or something similar and it will be right there. It is the same code no matter what venue you attend.
