Someone has to have extra! I would check eBay. Of course, it is getting ever closer to the 3rd, so any eBay bids might cut it close in terms of when you will receive the tickets, but it is worth a try!

yeah I wouldnt hold my breath...if you can find them your may end up having to pay a pretty penny for them...

So if the 10th has the most DISers but is not sold out yet (according to the DLR website), then it must be mostly non-DISers going on the 3rd, since that night is sold out. I assumed that the later it got into October, the more likely the nights would be to sell out but it doesn't seem to be working that way just yet!

Yes, I was very lucky to find exactly the number of tickets I needed on the exact night I need them for, and it was very unexpected. I guess it was meant to be! I will probably be one of the only ones (along with my friend) who is NOT in costume so I will probably be easy to spot!

basically it seems to go fridays sell out first...and i said way back that it would start selling out before the end of sept...then the other dates will start selling out ..this makes my 3rd one and by the end of the 1st week or so in Oct. they have been all sold out...lets see if it works that way this year

My friend got his (4 total) on E-Bay last year, for a Friday, at face value - two days before the event. There are people out there that bought tickets and just can't go. I was almost one of them last year.

That's what I was thinking, and that is where I would have gone (to eBay) if I had not suddenly encountered two tickets for myself today, in a sudden stroke of good luck. I think the PP who asked about locating tickets for the 3rd should keep an eagle eye on eBay. As you said, people buy tickets and then cannot go. Things do happen where folks have to cancel their plans, and they don't want to lose the money they spent, so they either go and lurk ominously around the gates of DCA to try to sell the TOTP tickets to passersby on the 3rd, or they put the tickets up for bid/sale on eBay!

Lynn, since you have been to two previous MTOTP's, do you remember offhand if the PhotoPass folks are wandering around the party? I would imagine they are, but if so, do they take just regular old PP pictures, or are these the 'other kind' of PP pics (like at Goofy's Kitchen, where you can get a PP picture taken at your table, for a FEE!) where you have to pay for them on the spot?

photopass people are out there and at all the character stops you can get the special pics done but I dont think they do the pics like GK where you pay on the spot...at least I never was given a choice to do one...although Mickey was the only character I was after

Okay, I will keep my wallet in my bag then! I thought it might get a little too costly if they started charging at every character stop, but it IS Disney after all, so one never knows!

We just bought our tickets last night for Oct. 10th!

It will be me, DH, and DD (4) so please add us to the list. This will be our first time at DL during Halloween, and our first MTOTP, and we are sooooooo excited! Maybe, we can meet up with others going on that night that have kids close to our daughter's age.

How is everyone being identified as diser's, or is there a meeting place?

That's great! I'm glad you bought tickets!! I've never been to the party, but I have been at Halloweentime and it's so much fun. The decorations are great.

As far as I know there are no planned meet ups. BUT if anyone from each date wanted to try and put something together that would be fun. Even if it was just for a few minutes or to go on one ride together or whatever.

As for being identified as a DISer, I'm going to have my LGMHs on me so if anyone sees that, then they'll know. So that's one way.

Another thing I just thought of is as it gets closer, maybe people will post what costume they are going to be wearing so that's another way you could recognize someone.

Personally I'm just wearing a Halloween tee. LOL

You know what?? I'm so dumb. I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner. I can have everyone post what their costumes are going to be and add it next to their name on the front page. Right?

That should make it easier to spot someone. Not foolproof, but still easier. By now most people should pretty much know what they are going as. Hopefully. LOL

So far on the 10th my little girl will be Jasmine, already bought her outfit last weekend. Not sure what me or hubby will be yet. I have a H*ll's Belle costume from a few years ago, it's a tattered kinda scary looking Belle costume, but I'm not sure it's appropriate for this party. I wore it to an adult party a few years ago, and it was funny since Belle has always been my favorite princess.

I love the idea of seeing what everyone else is going to be, how fun!!!!!

Oh, that must be it. I wondered why the 3rd sold out but the later October dates had not sold out yet. I assumed it was just because it was the first night of the TOTP and people want to see it on the first night. Well, I won't be in costume (and I guarantee, neither will my friend!) other than possibly a silly hat, but if I have a LGMH and if you, Toocherie, have a LGMH, we will have to keep an eye out for each other on the 3rd at the TOTP AND at the PPH!! A few days ago, I didn't have a LGMH or any tickets to the TOTP, but I made a sudden decision and everything fell into place, and I will be there for at least a little while, checking out the Halloween stuff!
