I was thinking of making my own too. I know they give you plastic ones there. But, I've been feeling creative lately (which can be rare). I'm making myself a bow for my hair so maybe I'll make a matching bag...

I'm not going to make mine tooo sturdy just because I lack the fabric/time. I'm just going to have to large sides, the two long sides and one bottom square. I'll use extra fabric for the strap

I will be there with my fiance' on OCTOBER 10!!!!!!!!!! So excited as this will be the first time in DL..and the 10th is our "pre anniversary" since we are getting married Oct. 10 2009! heehee! Hope to see some Dis'ers!

Well, I waited and waited to make my decision as to whether or not to go to the TOTP on October 3, and I HAD to wait because I wasn't sure how our plans were going to unfold and whether or not it seemed like my friend would be up for it. I didn't anticipate that October 3 would be busier than the other days later in October, but lo and behold, October 3 has sold out. And I had JUST decided about two days ago that I would probably go to the TOTP and check it out even if my friend wants to stay in the room. I was all prepared to order at least one ticket online, and saw the ominous, red SOLD OUT letters next to the 3rd.

I may start a new thread about this subject but does anyone know the answer to this - if it says on the DL website that one night is sold out for the TOTP, does that mean JUST sold out for online advance orders (at the cheaper prices), or does this mean sold out entirely? LIke even if I show up on the 3rd and want to buy a ticket at the booths for that day (at a higher price), is it still SOLD OUT or are there usually same-day tickets available??

We are hoping to be there Oct. 10th, providing they still have tix available when everybody in our damily decides whether they want to go or not. There should be at least 3 of us my DH, DD 4, and myself. Sure hope that the tix don't sell out before my other older kids decide whether they want to join us or not.

I'll let you know for sure if we get them would be great to meet up with other diser's there! Teenagers are very difficult to hurry up on anything (at least mine are,uggghhh)

As a matter of fact, I was just about to make a call to them later today to be sure, but a solution to the ticket problem presented itself miraculously and I think I am good! I am almost positive I will be going to the party on the 3rd. As it is, I will drag along my sleepy friend against her will (sort of), so I don't think we will bother with costumes, but I want to see the extra decorations and characters and see the Pirate theme at the Lagoon and all that. More opportunities for picture-taking!

I am glad you answered that question because I was wondering whether sold out meant sold out, period, or sold out online. But I don't need to call DLR now. I found some tickets and I will be there on October 3rd! Even if I just pop in for an hour, I still want to go in to DCA and see what fun stuff is in there!

So if the 10th has the most DISers but is not sold out yet (according to the DLR website), then it must be mostly non-DISers going on the 3rd, since that night is sold out. I assumed that the later it got into October, the more likely the nights would be to sell out but it doesn't seem to be working that way just yet!

Yes, I was very lucky to find exactly the number of tickets I needed on the exact night I need them for, and it was very unexpected. I guess it was meant to be! I will probably be one of the only ones (along with my friend) who is NOT in costume so I will probably be easy to spot!
