Halloweentime is over, hope you all had fun! Until next year....TTFN!

What CSU are you going to?
I'm transferring to CSUFullerton next spring

I go to San Jose. I'm not too thrilled about school this semester, but its okaayy I guess.

I do!! Do it do it!!! (Peer pressure!!) :thumbsup2

I will ! I WILL!! haha  Can you show me a pic of yours Courtney ?

If it's something you know how to do, then I think it's a great idea!!! I personally can't sew on a darn button. :rolleyes1

But how fun to make your own personal trick or treat bag!!! If you do, PLEASE post pics so we can see how it turns out. :yay:

I promise I'll post pics when I finish it ;) I'll probaby paint on it too; who knowssss.

So I meant to buy tickets for the 22nd, but ended up buying 2 tickets for the 23rd. So let me know if anyone needs them and would be willing to trade for the 22nd! If not then I may just "dream" someone our tickets for the 23rd.

I just found out we will be going to San Diego the week of Halloween so I managed to talk my husband into driving up for the party!!
We will be going on the 30. I can't wait to see pics from some of you guys who are going early in the month.

That's great! I'll add you now. And I can't wait to start seeing pics either!! :thumbsup2

Well, I bought my costume yesterday at Target of all places. It's Cleopatra. I think it might have been one leftover from last year because I can't find this one anywhere else online. There ended up being 2 pin sized marks on the left side, but I don't really care. I can tell it's made very cheaply so I think I might stitch up the strps just to make sure they don't rip if someone steps on the gown or it gets caught on something, that would be really embarrassing. LOL. I'll be the half naked Cleopatra at DCA scaring all the families away!

Anywho, I'm watching a Marc Anthony costume on eBay. It's really just a toga witha drape on it. We'll just need a few accessories and walla!

I saw a Cleopatra costume at our Target. There were only two hanging up though. Not sure if it's the same but the one I saw was really cool looking. Now you gotta get all those fun gold bracelets, and snake accessories she wears. :thumbsup2
And some strappy gold sandals. LOL

I'm going, I'm going!!! October 16, just like my MOMMA!!!!!

Here it is...

Last year my siblings and I got hooked on their strawberry fruit leather. The brand is Fruitaboo and I couldn't find it anywhere. A few months ago I noticed that they started carrying it at Target and was thrilled. I also loved their apple slices. :goodvibes

Dude, that's the REAL DEAL. No cheap dollar store candies, NAME BRAND candies. Oh, yeah I'm a candy snob, especially during halloween. I love me some twix and milky way!

One neighbor on our street, a sweet older couple, always gave king size candy bars!

And the end of the night, my sister and I would sit down, put on It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! and do some bartering.

So, if everything works out these will be our Halloween costumes (not MTOT costumes because my little sister and dog will not be going)

NOTE: This is not really us, just stock photos on websites.

My sister's costume

My costume

except not so skanky:headache:

My dog

Except that's not my dog's breed.

It's so hard to find a lion's mane for dog costume without the whole body suit. My dog already has the color of a lion so I see it as pointless to get a "jumpsuit".

Anyone know where or how I could make one of these manes?

Now if my little sister decides to back out last minute (kids are fickle) then it would be:

My costume

with longer shorts and get rid of those boots, OUCH

and my dog

Just some ideas.

Now back to your regular broadcast;)

You know you LOVE me!!!!!
I'm sorry, did you say something? I wasn't paying attention.

I'm a candy snob too. :snooty:

All four of my kids sit down with their bags of candy and trade after they go trick or treating. That's the fun of it all! :thumbsup2

I like all of those costumes! Good choices. I especially like the one with the boots and the whip, but then that's probably not too surprising. :rotfl:
