Hi Everyone we are new to DISboards we will be there on Oct 10th

I love that Jack Skellingotn bag, so cute!

Beth- I like that pic of the kitties int he pumpkin awww, I just want to go out ant get one now. Ok someone give me a reality check, no kitties!

So, I can not find a Fred costume for DH who is super tall and broad shouldered. Plus I don't like the Wilma dresses out there. I was at Target this weekend and they had some stuff out already. I think we'll go as cleopatra and marc anthony (or Caesar). I've ALWAYS wanted to be cleopatra for halloween so I basically told Dh he was wearing a toga like it or not haha. Anywho, I wanted to do Disney but because he's so tall I'd have to make our costumes and I'm just not that A. creative and B. talented haha.

I was trying decide if I liked the wording with just plain "candy" or if "candy corn" was better. For some reason I think I like "candy corn" better.

Love reading this thread. My family and I will be attending the party on the 17th.

Here is a picture of all of the candy we collected at last year's party. This was just my daughters(she was 2 1/2 at the time) bag. They offered candy to my husband and I but we declined--we had plenty to share.

I love kitties. I'd be total cat lady if I could with lots of cats around. Unforunately we are renting and no pets allowed, so instead they are in my sig.

I love your costume idea of Marc Anthony and Cleopatra!!! I hope you'll come back and post pics afterwards.

Everyone else too!! We've all been waiting so long for our party dates to arrive, it will be fun to keep going afterwards with lots of pics and little reports of how your night went.

If it's something you know how to do, then I think it's a great idea!!! I personally can't sew on a darn button.

But how fun to make your own personal trick or treat bag!!! If you do, PLEASE post pics so we can see how it turns out.
