I don't know how strict they are being about arriving in costumes early this year, but in years past i have seen people in their costumes in the morning. It makes sense I guess if your a 1 day visitor with a park ticket and a party ticket. you would come to the park in costume since you dont have a hotel room to store your costume in or to go to change.

That being said though, that was several years ago and things have gotten more strict around Disney regarding costumes.

Haven't been able to check on our Halloween trip for a while, been busy with family coming in from out of town and school getting started! So glad that I didn't miss anything too major! :)

Getting pretty excited!

How do you know which villains will be there on any given date?

The 3 Good Fairies and Maleficient :maleficen will there for the Oct. 21st party!!! Very excited!

They have hours posted for October 1st as of today!

Yea! Now if it inches forward one day at a time I should have info for my trip in just a couple days.

Why does this excitement and anticipation remind me of how I felt the week before christmas when I was a kid? I may need to seek a 12 step program for Disney...."Hi my name is Jessica and I'm and mouse-aholic".

They have this listed under Blue Bayou dining reservations:

I find the wording "Frightfully Fun Parade" interesting! The caps makes me think this may be a new parade (or at least different from the Cavalcade).

Do you think that this is supposed to be the Mystical Spirits of the Blue Bayou Dinner that they did last year? If it is just preferred viewing of the parade, I think I am going to pass. The best part of last years dinner was the view for the fireworks.
