I have a few questions about MNSSHP....

I see the dates are now out. What I am wondering IS what if you pick a certain night and the weather does not cooperate? Do they let you in on the NEXT party night? Also, we are going the first week of Oct. and I assume it will not be so busy, but what about the first Fridaynight--how are the crowds? Do many kids dress up early in the season?

Can anyone tell me anything about it?

The party goes on it the rain too. It would have to be severe (very, very severe) weather for it to be cancelled (which so very unlikely). It will still go on in thunderstorms too.
We did the first party this past year. It was a Friday night as well. I think about 80% of the kids were dressed up, and about 40% of the adults. It was really great (especially compared to the sold-out party we did the year before). There were no crowds. We hope to do the Sept 30th party this year too.

We are looking at doing the Oct 4 or 7 party. I was checking about the weather because I would hate to schedule for the 7 and have something 'bad' happen as our last day at WDW will be the 8th.

Do you recomend the weeknight vs the Friday night?

Fridays tend to be busier than weeknights. If it rains bad enough, they may cancel the parade and/or the fireworks but the party itself will not be canceled. The only time I remember this happening was back in 2002 I think for MVMCP not MNSSHP and Disney was quite accomodating. They let some people go another night and gave some refunds. It's a rare thing though.

The tickets went on sale May 1 last year and are not on sale yet. Just keep checking here to see when they go on sale.
