Is the not so scary halloween party at the MK worth the money for a 4 year old?
ABSOLUTELY! We've been four times now. Once when my first child was 18 mos, again when my kids were 2 and 4 mos, last year when they were 3 and 16 mos, and this year when they were 4 and 2. THEY LOVE IT! My 4-yr-old keeps asking when it's going to be Halloween because she wants to go to WDW. They have trick-or-treating stations (there is a map), free face painting (a HUGE hit!), fortune tellers, storytelling, a Halloween riverboat ride, special parades and a special fireworks show. You can also get your photo taken - it is complimentary and is mailed to your home.
How will we get back to our hotel? Do the Disney buses run until the park closes after the not so scary halloween party?
The buses run until 1 hour after the party ends.
How late does it get over, we don't want to keep him up very late?
It ends late - 11pm or midnight. One or both of the kids usually fall asleep in the stroller before it ends.
How many months in advance do the tickets go on sale?
I can't remember! Maybe someone else can give you a definite answer, but I think we usually buy our tix a couple of months in advance. You can also purchase tix at the MK if the date you want to attend is not sold out.
If you have any other questions, fire away, and I'll try to answer.
